My opinion is that most of the problems were Pit related. I also posted mostly in other places, but from time to time, did go by the Pit. Unfortunately, when you get over 10,000 members, problems will happen. What made the pit great, also made it a problem.
While some of you will see me as part of the 'establishment', I don't really consider myself to be, as I never really had conversations with most of those people I considered to be problems causers.
Re; The B&G incident. The B&G began life as a place to discuss racing the Grand Prix Legends game. Somehow it grew, and the bottom line is that some people said things about other people, and the other people found out and a battle ensued. The feelings in the Pit went downhill from there.
Paul - it is Paul isn't it? Klos.. I don't think you were banned, I thought you were temporarily suspended.. but I am blonde and my memory could be off. With these situations there is always more than meets the eye.
I think it suffices to say that we all know who some of the problem people were at GTF... we might agree/disagree on a couple, but the core theme would probably be about the same. I e-mailed Kenji with my thoughts, no names mentioned, and stated what I thought was my feelings... FWIW. I suggest you do the same.
I find it regrettable that people feel a need to name people here, we know who you are talking about without the names, and naming people will just further the problems. While this is a little community unto itself, and a nice one I have been a member of for a little while. The whole GT community is much smaller than you would think, and B&G proved this. When naming people as such and such, then be prepared that they will find out what you have said, because they will. If you are not prepared to say something to someones face, don't bother saying it at all.
I am taking a wait and see approach with the Pit, if the same behaviour is tolerated, I'll chat in other places. Otherwise, it is still my opinion that the GTF has the best OLR section on the net, and great resources in GT2, GT3, shark codes.. and some interesting and suprisingly polite conversation in the Open Road, and the Race Track (at least compared to other places).
