👍

I wish it was true. :(

no it is real it was posted on Sony forums by a mod...

Posted on a forum by a mod.

Because they are the ones who know what's going on in the gaming industry.

I think the fact that there's absolutely no proof of any actual announcement and the day that it is..... :dunce:

This is never going to happen as they would have to re-license every car again, basically GT6.

And when will we be expecting this HD collection to be released? 2016?

If you hadn't already figured it out GT5 is just basically HD collection GT4, and that took 6 years...

I hope its a joke.

As in GT Platinum, GT2 Platinum, GT3 A-Spec Platinum, GT4 Platinum and GT5 XL Edition?

They are all re-releases therefore all require re-licencing. If it wasn't worth doing none of these games would have been re-released.

To me this looks like an easily deniable, April Fool 1 day early, market research endeavour to test the interest in an idea.

Why would anyone even buy something like this of it were true? It would be Sony selling you gt5 with old cars and tracks. They could release a "vintage" dlc pack for gt5 and it would be an even better idea. Racing games are the one genre I would never buy a remake for.

I would, yes. GT3, GT4 and GTPSP in HD is enough to entertain anyone. Add online play and this is a corker of a HD Collection.

To anyone that didn't know this was confirmed to be an april fool's joke by the mod that posted it. The OP looks like a fool now doesn't he?

Not given the date of the post he was referring to.

If I was Kaz, what I'd be asking now is why are people talking about HD versions of previous games rather than playing GT5.

It's already been denied previously and obtaining all the licenses for the cars in previous games would kill all chances of profit for a GT HD Collection.
