GT-One Race Car

How do I get the GT-One Race car? I've done all the races and the major ones at least 3 times and had no luck. I've got the road version, is that better?

It depends which you want. The '98 is in the World Championship (1 of 4 cars). The '99 is all golds on the IA license or S license (sorry, I cant remember which, probably IA). The 99 version is slower on horsepower (by quite a bit) but is faster overall and has better handling. I hope that helps.

Have you tuned the road car up? It tunes to 975hp!

Once up to that 975 hp, you can get the top speed over 420Km/h!

Hi, I'm not sure where I got my first Toyota GT 1 Race car, I think I won the '98 version in the world champs !
oh the '99 version I have was for all golds on the S licence,  both car's a virtually the same but for the paint job.  The Toyota GT-One Road Car has more power 900+hp, but it only beats the Race car on the Fastest tracks,  The race car has more Downforce so it comes into it's own on most tracks with a few more corners.
That's only compairing the Road & Race versions.

I won the GT 1 in a race , which one I don't recall. Rob is right about the handleing , the downforce makes a big difference , I really got a kick out of that car at Grand Valley.

I bought the road version and i got it over 900hp prolly round the 975 range but its been a while since i've played GT2.

The race car still kicks @ss, but put maximum downforce on the Road car and it makes a huge difference.

Hi danpollard, I hate to to say this but you can't put downforce on the '98 GT-One. I just bought one and tryed. You can put downforce on the '98 and '99 GT-One racecars. Thought I would let you know that. crb

In GT3, best non-F1 car in the game. In GT2, 2nd best car in the game. Audi TT LM is the best car in the game.
