Don't even worry about what the gtr runs. Doesn't even matter anymore. Most likely he hacked the car a few hp.

Yeah there are so many now, I got smoked by a Mitisubishi evo 10. All I saw was smoke down the whole track.

Couple of clicks here, couple of clicks there on the Suspension and you can achieve those G's on the hacked GTR. This game has gone to the birds. Dark Side hibernation mode on:(
 
Guys that's the slammed GTR Spec V 1200hp. He probably drop the hp a bit but that's a hacked car.

Plus no one seems to notice that he is runing a stock exhaust. If his car wasn't hacked, and he would have used a stock one, then that would give him what, 820 bhp? And he claims 868. It's not hybrids that are killing the drag sceene, it is the people.

True, this hybrids in the wrong hands can ruin the game, but to me, they're quite fun. I feel awesome running an M5 (mine runs 9.089s) vs 06 Vipers or a Supra (9.121) vs the GTS or a Clio (9.610) vs the 458 Italia. I just tell the guys I'm in a hacked car and if they don't like it, I get rid of it. To me, it opens a whole lot of new options, cars to tune, basically gets me interested in the game again. I love the realistically hacked cars that are tunable and don't run under 8.9 after the hacking.

The ridiculously hacked ones can be really annoying and get boring very quick but they can be fun, the highway pulls I did with trasher and Wraith yesterday on SSRX were great.

And as long it brings people back on GT5, I don't think PD is going to patch it. Not really much they can do, they aren't going to rewrite every single savegame, they can't patch the hack, as it is a part of a savegame, they won't empty our garages because we all have backups and they won't go searching through every single users garage to see if one has a hacked car. All they can do is set the maximum hp limit online to 1635 bhp (that's what the unhacked X2011 has), but then again, many cars are hacked to where they could go under that limit.

I have to agree with you, as long as it stays as realistic as possible it's fun and interesting. My 86GT runs 10.149 very good sleeper.

I like the ones you have with realistic power the ones with crazy numbers just don't make sense, in my opinion but I'm sure they're just as fun.

I agree with this. There should be no problem if 1. The hacks remain somewhat manageable, and 2. People are honest about it being hacked. I voiced my concern about this weeks ago because I saw the end of fair competition. I however have a garage full of hacked jobs because they are fun. I have been able to right a few wrongs...like putting a real motor into the '65 Shelby backed by a better trans. This can be fun and competitive if we have integrity...:)
 
I back your number 2 idea was in a room today and this kid had an AE86 Corolla with an RX-7 motor, OMG sick it was fast too.

Good job on that one MisterEads, I need to attempt to break mine in again and retune it, for some reason after I break mine in and tuned it it went back to unbroken status, talk about a glitch huh....

Record now is 9.045 so I guess it may, though pics would be better to see if it has too much top end pull.
 
i don't even have that viper yet. I'm always thinking, "I should get that."

However, I just go online to a drag room until i get kicked for winning and then hit up the drift rooms.
