Nice time dream very fast Z đź‘Ť Thats only 0.005 slower than the fastest I saw anyone get pre 2.08 update. That car is such a bastard to launch, takes forever to build up RPM's like it has negitive 10hp from 0-6000RPM then from 6000-Redline it makes 847hp :lol:

I just got a 8.246 on my veyron with her topping out b4 hitting the line:) so that record going 2 get smashed soon.I found out why mine was so slow.Only had 1228 HP.this new one has 1256:) also new viper time of 9.004 enzo time of 9.024 aventador time of 8.946 hmm theres more but i forget them.most need to be broken in that's my problem.lol none of my cars are broken in:(

Observations:
The car has longer gears than the Test Proto , thus it is slower on 1/4 mile and has higher top speed , even in 5th gear.
Also , even thought the weight and power figures look similar to Test Proto , the Stingray Proto has slightly lower pp rating. (and possibly a fraction less power)

Not that this is a huge deal, or detecable for that matter, and nor do I really care as I don't drag anymore, but how do we know if someone is using a slightly slower, aka messed up time from pre 2.08 and posting it to get top times? Like I know I've made some runs that weren't as fast as they could have been and took pictures just in case I couldn't beat it....those extra pictures could very be used to acheive top times on these boards as there is no way of detecting your game version via these screenshots....



Just food for thought. Not that anyone has probably even thought of this.

Don't raise the issue of date checking either. That will be invalid when the anniversary rolls around, adn I think that's when people would really wait to start doing it.

Anniversary ?? It still shows 2013 vs 2012 in the date.
 
You can't really without video proof apart from trust, and assuming people are honorable, but im guessing most pre 2.08 patch times will have very different 0-60 and 0-100 times, even if that pre 2.08 time only just beat a curent patch version time by 0.001 I would bet it would have very different 0-60 and 100 times from a curent patch time which would make it stand out.

Plus if people are THAT desperate to get a top time they have to use deceitful tactics it doesn't usually take too long for their web of lies to unravel and and thruth come out.
 
Pre 2.08 times will still have 2012 in the date, can't get around that.

Fairly gigantic PITA ways, but ways nonetheless.
 
Only if the time was run in 2012, Could still run 2.08 patch and not update the game, do a run and it will have todays date.

Some pictures may have been cut off by the camera itself thus you won't be able to see it. Look at the few pictures above. See a date? Didn't think so. Same can be said here, like Slip said. There are plenty of ways. And to be honest, 0-60 and 0-100 times wouldn't be all that much faster, in fact probably slow enough to look legit and still correspond well with the actual 1/4 time.
