I've just been talking to Eric Lux, he hopes to be hearing from United Autosports soon about his 2014 plans.

Looking forward to watching the Mclarens next weekend at St. Pete, and all the other GT3's, looking to be even better than last year! :D

Not to be completely random, but has there been any news of the C7 Corvette GT3? Last I heard Callaway was in charge of that project.

Rowe Racing had a crash during VLN testing.

Its amazing how much money these guys have, and go thru year by year. I couldn't even buy that car bone stock!, these guys roll race modded chassis.

I think that shows just how fast they're really going. Obviously the driver was alright?

It's sad that motorsport is that way, but there are ways to get onto the ladder with very little money.

Why is that amazing that they can afford it and you can't

Are you Bill Gates?

The driver and track marshal are unharmed according to the german sentence in the video.

Because the sheer amount of money involved in motorsport, and how relaxed some of them are about spending it, is amazing.

Not really most of the teams are run as "Advertising" for the owners main company. Therefore it can be covered by the company, for example in BTCC Tesco give 888 Just over £250k per car per season thats roughly the same cost as a prime time advert.

I'm not sure about you, but most people in touch with reality would call £250k a lot.

No, it's still money that is spent in racing. Motorsport is just incredibly expensive, and there's no denying it.

No the point is that it's treated as advertising, 250k for a full season in motorsport or 250k for a 30 second tv advert?

Also Rowe Motorsport is a sub brand of Rowe Mineralölwerk GmbH which is huge.

Or a massive percentage of people haven't got £250k at all? That's what i'm saying.

Nobody really cares if it's just advertising or not, the money put into motorsport is a lot to anybody!

Because I'm still not sure how these Teams bring in that much money sponsored on a car
They don't. Motorsport needs a stupendous money reserve to compete at a decent level, no matter how many sponsorship deals you have.

Trust me i know i have a 3 kart race team here at my house and just the tires and gas alone is 🤬

P.s. I was aware that the SLS AMG GT3 cost more then 250k,. I hear it was more like 400k per chassis, and thats GT3 only not GT1

Anyone who thinks that it doesn't cost that much is pretty out of touch with reality.

And how did they get rich?
From either inheriting some money, or having a big family business. In order to get sponsored, you must first get into racing to have a reason for the sponsorship, and getting into motorsport requires money.
