For the first time in a few weeks, I’ve really enjoyed playing Gran Turismo 5.

In early January I had hit a wall with A-Spec, became bored of grinding for cars and tired of the whole progression. The seasonal events were a welcome relief as I could fire it up once a week and was forced to buy new cars I may not have considered, being rewarded with a shedload of money. With this week’s seasonal events being less of a money incentive they once were, I brought a load of cars I’ve wanted since the start and have just been enjoying the drive and taking a few photos.

Take away the shackles of the single player and you're reminded what a great driving game GT can be.

I wish more people thought about GT5 the same as you...most are just out there to get cars and money as fast as possible and forgetting about everything else in the game...it's very massive, people just don't realize it.

It was nice to just get away from the more frustrating parts of the game and just re-discover the parts of the game that really are perfect.

I had a little difficulty in taking photos of the Standard cars as I could find very few angles where the cars looked good. The one great looking standard car is the Caterham Fireblade as the attention to detail is exceptional for the GT4 models and almost comparable to a Premium car.

Here's a few more I took.
