Slow down...literally. When the tickets have to get paid for and the insurance premiums catch up with you, you start to slow down, trust me!Originally posted by Bollocks#999
...your chances are pretty good at getting caught
i will still speed where ever i go, i just cant sit on the limit and stay focused on the job at hand
almost crashed at least 3 times due to driving at the limit due to not concentraing
if im going faster however im less likely to crash because im more aware

But I did just hear that in Scottsdale, where I work, they have inplemented a new speeding law. For excessive speeding, 20 mph or more over the limit, which is about one third of divers at any given time, the penalty is $500.00 and jail time. The rationale is that most of Scottsdale is rich and the people aren't deterred by fines alone.

This is what i spotted the other day (tuesday):
driving down one of the main streets here spotted a speed camera wasnt sure (and wasnt speeding either) so i turned around came back to make sure
It was a revenue raiser so i stopped and proceeded to write down its number plate, while doing this police car, literally, flies past me with lights ablaze. Nothing wrong with that you may say he could have had an emergency to attend to, but NO right after he go's past the camera and he's safely out of range do the lights go off.
Is this the only place where this happens or is it commonplace all over the world?
Tried to catch him to report him but hey i dont have a siren or flashing lights for when i get to a red light![]()
...they are a law (they think) unto themselves

I pay much more attention to apex efficientcy in R/L after Gran Turismo,. but it never gave me the urge to speed.

Good to see you over this way mate 👍
agree with your staement completely...
that and racing Go-karts (indoors) has given me a new perspective on taking cornes (apex) a fair bit quicker than i used to be able to before i started
QUESTION:has anyone ever outrun a cop?
...i have once but was extremely lucky do do so

Nope, don't plan on doing that either. However, I suppose I could if I got Cadillac's new V16 engine![]()

Just the fact that I could say, "Boo ya! I outrun you in my jacked V16!" would do it for me...
