Don't forget to submit your car choices by Wednesday at Midnight EST. Would suck to get a penalty before you even start!

Bienvenue Litchi ;)

I'll do some testing tonight with the changes to the M3 and the 370Z and I'll choose tonight too. 👍

practice room is up: 1472 6118 3830 2744 5343

EDIT: Closed.

2.15.9 is my PB for now in the RX7. I think i can down to a mid/low 2.15 in a perfect lap.

Staying with the same car as in practice. I'll suffer at faster tracks like Monza and La Sarthe but it's worth it at every other track.

Car selections are completed!

Two RX7s, Three M3's, One Fairlady Z, Four NSX-Rs, and Five Evoras. :)

Only two days until race one. Good luck everyone!

Not sure. I'm not racing at the moment. I ate way too much today to do anything beyond lie on my couch and watch football right now.

Practice room up! All welcome! I'll probably leave it open for a while. If anyone wanted to run a mock race, I might be up for that too :)

1472 - 6118 - 3830 - 2744 -7420

Closed.

Finally figured out how I want to run my Dforce/ballast! I'm not sure I've got a 15.5 in me, but I'm getting closer....

Room will open Saturday at 4pm Eastern for early testing. Hopefully everyone can be there by 5pm at the latest for warmup before qualifying.

Jones, you mean this? I'm ready!

Congrats to Rob (Red_Leader) for winning the Grand Prix of Germany with his Nissan!

We had a few issues during the qualifying race, and several people didn't have great pit strategy in the race, but overall the race went smoothly.

I just sent out an e-mail with updated details. Looking forward to an even better race next week!

Everyone ready for Monza? Less than 48hrs to go now. Hopefully people will do their fuel math a bit better this week. I noticed a few people had their races somewhat ruined by fuelling errors last time out. And fbmautopilot got seriously close to running out again like he did at Fuji :scared: I don't think I'd be comfortable cutting it that fine.

What sort of lap times are people turning? And any plans for a practice room on Friday?

Hey Rob! I'm ready :) Hopefully everyone has had some time to practice with their new Ballast.

I'd agree, hopefully people put some extra effort into the fueling... I tried to emphasize how important is what, but I guess some people would rather find out for themselves :)

I'll put up a practice room tomorrow if I'm around. Might have some stuff going on though. I haven't had a chance to run a lap yet....

Hey Bill. Good stuff. Well, luckily Monza isn't that technical so once you've figured out your braking points there's not much to it after that.

Starting with the testing at suzuka. I'm hoping the mix of technical sections with straights brings the cars back together. Or we could add some weather to slow down the heavy cars.

Hey guys! Awesome race yesterday! I haven't had a chance to follow up with everybody but I will today. I really appreciate everyone taking the time to figure out their pit strategy, and for being early!

Preliminary Monza results and championship standings are posted on the website, but these are all pending review.

As far as Suzuka, it's almost the epitome of a track that balances out handlings/power cars. The Nissan will be 1-2 seconds slower through sector 1 and 1-2 seconds faster through sector 3. I think this will be the most interesting race yet, as it will be very important each driver to maximize it's cars strengths.

FWIW, I've seen TimeAttack (with an Evora that was 10hp short), absolutely CRUSH every other car in qualifying. Granted that is Brock so he'd beat us anyway, but the point is that the Evora can be very fast here.

Hell yea, Brock is definitely a Super Alien ahah

Says the guy who monumentally out brakes himself in the qually race :dunce:

Yep, was a hard race.

I agree Suzuka should be a close one. Fuelling and pit strategy will be absolutely crucial there.

Hey guys, please note the ballast adjustments have changed slightly. Make sure you add/remove the right amount before you practice.

I'll send out an e-mail with updates, as well as penalties. There were some incidents that are under review.

Can't wait for Suzuka :)

well, just tested a 16 lapper race to evaluate my pit strategy, i should be good with 30-32 liters. Hit a 2:20.1 during this race. Happy with that considering my 55kg ballast (25+15+15 )

Remember the ballast penalties changed between race 1 and 2 because we have less people than we originally thought.

It should be, 25+20+15.

Sorry about that! :)

Either way, it's the difference between having a heavy girl in your passenger seat, and having a heavy girl who just ate some cake in your passenger seat.

Nice to see you guys still around, looks like a fun and well organised series. Almost makes me want to fire up good old GT5 again ;)
