Sweet pictures dude, thanks for posting! Looks like you only posted pics through the halfway point of the race. I will await the rest lol.

Those are up to the end of lap 14. There were vast periods of the race where everyone was running on their own, so not much to see. Although you, Fabian, Jason and Alec had a good battle towards the end. I might have a few more of that.

Ok, last few;

Jason scaring Bill off the road through the Porsche curves

A nice bit of oppo through Indianaplois

The last battle of the race - ended soon after by fuelling miscalculations from Jason, Alec and Fabian

Lol, wow. Really make it look like I got beat up last few laps lol. Thanks for posting.
Yeah, sorry about that but you kinda did. The camera doesn't lie :sly: Plus it was all that was going on in the closing laps. Everyone else was on their own.

See you in ~7 hours 👍 And hopefully the phantom R8 doesn't make an appearance tonight :p

Awesome racing tonight guys! Probably the most fun I've had all season. Granted winning the race probably helps with that.... It was crazy close the whole race and literally when the green flag dropped, any driver in the room (except Rob and his school bus) could have won that race based on speed.

I basically ran out of fuel as I crossed the line, so I nailed my strategy perfectly and even then only won because Ray barely misjudged his.

If the race was 46 laps instead of 45, Ray would have won, followed by Jason, and I would have been somewhere around 8th.

This championship is suddenly totally up for grabs. The Nissan probably will have an advantage at Spa with speed, but can it make it through Eu Rouge without exploding into a fireball of destruction?

By the way Rob, you've now been designated the official GT SEC picture taker, and we all expect a thorough recap of the qualifier and feature race. When you get a chance, of course, but don't take too long! Thanks!

Btw #2, was the qualifying race epic or what? Seemed like 3 or 4 wide everywhere!

Oh and just so I can second guess myself forever, if I hadn't gotten stuck behind that POS Nissan in Race 1 and ended up second that race, and if I had managed to sneak that qualifying win at Sarthe (lost by .2), I would be only down by 4 points.

I'm gonna slit my wrists tonight probably.

Well, i wanna say sorry for my no-show tonight guys. I was at a non-planned-party. 4.20am now and i just back home...
Please Bill, could you say sorry for me to the guys who are not registered on gtplanet?

No problem Litchi, will do! We'll drop you zero score since it's the only race you missed anyway. That 8th place at Monaco really hurts your score now though :(

I trust you can make a strong push towards the finish though!

yea, i did crap at Monaco. Hope all racing gods will be with me for Spa and Seca (my fav track).
By the way. Should I keep my current ballast? or i loose a few?

Your ballast will stay the same. When someone misses a a race there are no changes made. It will be whatever it would have been for Autumn Ring.

Just watched the replay of the qualifying race. Chris lost three positions on the final turn of the final lap. Nothing dirty, was just forced to lift because of his tighter line. Caused him to start 6th in the feature instead of 3rd. Ouch!

Official photographer eh? :odd: Is this my punishment for making you look like a noob at Le Mans?

Yeah, I'll snap some pics 👍

Actually really pleased with 5th. Helped massively there were 2 no-shows and a lap 1 incident but whatever, I'll take it. Could so easily have been an 8th or a 10th with a full grid!

Totally feel for jones after watching the first lap replay. P3 just minding his own business and crunched from the rear at the downhill hairpin  If he didn't have bad luck, he'd have no luck at all.

LOL at the school bus comments. Yep, the ballast is seriously taking it's toll now in the corners. I almost felt like I was running on a comfort tyre compared to you guys. Good job there's plenty of straights at Spa :sly:

I'm glad that u guys had a great race!! I just couldn't make it yesterday mate :( i'm so sorry guys.
Can i continue at the Championship?
Cheers

Yea, he seems to be a magnet for destruction lol. I really feel bad that it always seems to happen to him and nobody else. In this case, once Whitey and FBM crashed, there was no way likely to avoid contact. The rest of the field bunched up too quickly, and when Jones moved to get out of Whitey/FBMs way, Derrick and Myself were already committed to the inside.

I'm glad that u guys had a great race!! I just couldn't make it yesterday mate :( i'm so sorry guys.
Can i continue at the Championship?
Cheers

It's ok, we understand. You may continue, as long as you definitely plan to make it to Spa and Laguna seca. And promise not to cut the track at Spa 👍 *joking*

Nice pictures Rob. That school bus had me lol!

Cool :)
I'll give everything at the track and try to win the 1st prize :)
I still have some mathematics posibilities, but i'm afraid at Spa, where the 370Z will be very fast.

Maybe, but I have gained 30kg since we last met. You have only gained 5kg. Look forward to racing you.

Cool then :p i'll have more chances to beat your beats m8 :p
C u on tha track :D
You should definitely be able to beat me if the track doesn't beat you first? :) But there are many places at Spa where it's easy to gain a considerable advantage by going all 4 over the white line. Your previous form suggests that you might have more of a problem with that than you will actually beating me.

But yeah, I hope we can race close together at Spa because I made mistakes at both Monza and Suzuka, and my game froze at Monaco, which meant I was way out of position at the starts.

I did 4 laps at Spa, my best 2:38.900
I'll continue practicing later, i was a little bussy with the GT500 Time Trial :)

38.9 is interestingly fast 👍

Well, I've done maybe 30 laps (online lobby race conditions) and the absolute best I can muster is a 41.4. Managed a few other high 41's but mainly running in the 42's. Have to see what other people are running to get a better idea but I'm not too worried just yet.

Easy to be fast if you straight-line Eu Rouge lol.

You got 105kg ballast right Perro?

I havent done any testing but ill surely be off tbe pace. Hate tbjs track.

Remember there will be zero tolerance for cutting. Even one cut in qually will be a DQ, and I will DQ race results for as few as half a dozen or so.

Sweet! Eager to see what times Litchi and Wander are getting in the other FR cars? I may be on for practice tonight....

I did it at practice with the 105 kgs with all the penalties on ;)

That may be it right there; even tho they say they updated online mode to be the same physics as offline, I still dont think think its equal. I still have yet to see a car roll over online (despite my efforts!). Methinks offline is still faster, because of more grip.
And the in game penalties are not nearly as strict as supernasty's rules either. Careful about using them as a reference! That could easily add up to a 1.5 sec difference.

BUT, nice time at the GT500 TT, Perro! Seriously nice.
