GT Sport abandoned

Maybe, just maybe, they got other things to do, besides pouring new, free content into a two and half old game.

Happened to GT5 months after GT6 was released back then in late 2013. If this happens to GT Sport once the new title is released, then people shouldn't be surprised about it anymore.

Isn't the PS5 going to be a backwards compatible? So if this is the case, I don't think they will shut GTS down right away.

And when a new one is released, it would make sense to shut it down to get people to buy the new one.
 
Can’t accuse GTS of having not enough content. Hell, it has more GR3 cars than the official GT3 Blancpain sim, ACC!

since I paid just €20 for it, I feel I have already gotten what I paid and more out of it. Any additional content is a bonus.

Regardless if I agree with OP or not, I don't know what your comment is supposed to mean.

I'm sure OP are entitled to have and share their opinion, regardless of their age.

Yeah but that remains to be seen. However, I don't think they can support two online servers at the same time if the new GT already exists.
 
I wouldn't say abandoned. They're just focusing on other titles like GT7, you can tell by how they've been releasing 5 or 6 cars since the beginning of 2019.
 
If it means a GT release with the PS5, I'm okay with GTS being abandoned, but thats not really the case. Slowing? Perhaps....

Hold on guys, when it rains it pours: there wasn't a silhouette tweet today after some random fan account demanded it on Facebook, the game is abandoned now...

Yes I've enjoyed the game for 3 years, hundreds of hours and now I'd like a refund for my full $69 that I originally paid :lol:

I certainly find it unacceptable... I *expect* new cars and track every week! Or at least changing from D6 to D20 when rolling the daily race combos :p.
