Yeah, but I don’t consider an amalgamation of two existing tracks anything to write home about. :boggled:

Silverstone, Spa, Monza, Le Mans, Imola, COTA, Laguna Seca, Sebring. Now that’s what I’m talking about! :cheers: :)

Edit: and while the request line is open, how about some WEATHER!! :eek:

I would love to see those in the game and weather also.
 
Thanks all for the great racing and camaraderie this morning! So much fun!

I'm new to GT Sport (played GT3 many years ago) so I am still figuring out some of this stuff. For example, searched for how to set up a headset while using a wheel and found the method of using a 2nd id for the controller and plugging headset into that. Forgot this means this 2nd id needs to be friends to join the party room. It worked out but what is the easier method? Sign in as guest on the controller? Can a guest join a party room?

I look forward to the Wednesday lobby. I am not really an early bird so 6:30am MST is a bit of a stretch for me on Saturdays, but we shall see. Perhaps.

Happy to be part of the Geezers Club! (Now to figure out how to get that Geezer sticker on my cars!)

A Geezer Christmas Story

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through Stewy’s house
Not a geezer was stirring, not even a Duce;
The stockings were hung by the Play Station with care,
In hopes that St. Geezer1791 soon would be there;
The geezers were nestled all snug in their beds;
While visions of new Gran Turismo Sport tracks raced in their heads;
And Oldboy in his racing pajamas, and Pepper in his livery,
Had just settled our tachometers for a long winter's pit stop,
When out on the race track there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my pit to see what was the matter.
Away to the windshield I flew like a flash,
Tore down the race track and tried not to crash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,
Gave a lustre of midday to objects below,
When what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But a bright red Tank Car and eleven maxed-out Skylines,
With a little old driver so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment he must be St. Geezer.
More rapid than QM Exiles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:
"Now, Zona! now, Cheeves! now Godfather! now Mots! now Papa and StirlingMoose!
On, Luiz! on, Calveron! on, Nordschleife! on, RavingBonkers and Gearmeister!
To the top of the straightaway! to the top of the pit wall!
Now race away! race away! race away all!"
As leaves before the wild starting grid fly,
When they meet with an backmarker, mount to the sky;
So up to Stewy's house the Skylines they flew
With the Tank Car full of PS4's, and St. Geezer too—
And then, in a screeching, I heard on the track
The slipping and sliding of each racing slick.
As I raised my visor, and was turning around,
Down the pit lane St. Geezer came with a bound.
He was dressed all in Nomex, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with oil spray and tire soot;
A bundle of racing steering wheel sets (and a new DS4 for Papa) he had flung on his back,
To the delight of geezers waiting at the track.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the pit chimney he rose;
He sprang to his Tank Car, to his Skylines gave the command,
And away they all flew like the wind.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he raced out of sight—
“Happy Christmas to all Geezers, and to all a good night!”

I use my head set attached to my controler and I do not need another id for that. My head set has a p2 connector and works fine. If you have a usb connector just plug it direct to the ps4. Make sure the connector is all the way in. Send me a FR and you'll be able to download the Geezer logo. Marry Christmas.

T'was the day before Christmas
My shopping was done
With gts to play
I'll have some good fun

A dozen new cars
And the 1.10 update
I light up the 4
like a kid that can't wait

I've had a nice lunch
And the wife's on the phone
But friends are online
so I won't be alone

Polly servers are down

And their clowning around?

I'll go open a gift

An Xbox and forza
Both under the tree.

Tonight I'll be opening the Geezer Early Bird room at 7:30 ET ish + :) Geezers under age will be welcome. Be prepared with the following motors: Nissan Skyline GT-R V.Spec II NUR and Mercedes-AMG GT3 AMG-TEAM HTP-MOTORSPORT 2016. Both cars with Racing Soft Tires and default setup. I'll try to open the room and party before that time for practice, but I'll show up only a little after 7:30. We will start with the Nissan. :) cheers!!
