Wow! Gr8 lap bud! I didn't realize we could get away with chopping that much off the chicane corners! Not that I'll ever run a less than 2 minute lap, but I surely can run a quicker lap than I've posted to date. Cool run bud!
 
Geezers and Friends Sunday Races

Good morning Gentlemen. Room will open at 08.00 US ET. Racing starts at 09.00 (14.00 UK time)

GR3 Beetle today. No tuning. Usual room setup. 6 Laps at Interlagos to start us off. 3rd place picks next track.

GEEZERS AND FRIENDS Start with N400 Maserati at Dragon Trail Seaside. 5 laps. Sport Soft. BOP on. No tune. Boost weak. 5th place picks next track. Finale at BB For 2 race’ x 10 laps. Car vote. Then on to Blue Moon x2 7 lap sprints with the Tomahawk. Room opens at 6:30 central or before if I get home earlier.

Great time(s) - beats me by 1.7 seconds! I've just managed to get into 1:39s in races, with a tow, but can't manage it in qualifying!

Having said that, I'm usually starting in the top half of the grid, and finishing 2nd or 3rd in most races - consistency seems to be more important than one lap pace at this event. There's usually at least one of the top 10 in the races I'm in, which makes the win seem like a distant hope.

Talking of which, @Mwerte is currently P6 on the Euro server, with a 1.38.626....

I’ve been over .200+ leads on my best time many times, but keep screwing up. Touching the walls or tip toeing the last two corners and losing time lol

I know what you mean - the perfect lap is very difficult to achieve here :scared:
