Am I the only one that hasn’t been able to race it? I qualify and it shows my time compared to friends after that nothing. Nothing to join a room, or anything. Am I missing something or is it bugged?

If you're doing a qualifying time trial outside of race entry, you won't enter a race.

Go to Sport Mode, Race Entry. Pick your preferred event. Hit Race Entry (big, green tick), NOT Qualifying Time Trial - Qualifying Time Trial allows you to set a time for the race, but it does not enter you for a race. Then, after selecting the car, go to Pre-Race Qualifying.

All the time you are on track it will display a countdown until Matching. This will likely reach zero about three minutes before anything actually happens, but it will happen. Then it'll match you up and you'll race with other people.
