Koenigsegg? some speculation about the cars in this image?

Just some 3D models that author of this scene already had.

If I was the one stringing together updates, this is what'd you guys would get for a 1 year anniversary:
TRACKS:
  • Deep Forest Classic
  • Deep Forest Modern (few minor concessions to modern safety regulations, mainly run-off and a tweaked final section)
  • Trial Mountain Classic
  • Trial Mountain Modern (see DF Modern, but most noticeable with a much less dramatic final chicane)
CARS:
  • Toyota TS020
  • Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Version
  • Daihatsu Midget II
  • Subaru Impreza 22B
  • Chevrolet Corvette (1996, not-GS version. First car I drove in the series)
  • Ferrari F50 (because it really needs more love)
  • Audi RS6 Avant (2008)
  • Cizeta V16T
  • Fiat Coupe Turbo Plus (2000)
  • Suzuki GSXR-4
  • TVR Speed 12
  • Ginetta G4
  • Koenigsegg Agera RS
  • Nissan OPTION Stream Z (complete with it's MIGHTY TURBO LAG)
SCAPES:
  • Seattle
  • Silverstone (which would be as much of it as I'd put in the game)
  • Laguna Seca
  • The Moon
GENERAL QUALITY OF LIFE STUFF:
  • preposterously modifiable HUD
  • roll-overs don't cut away until the car stops moving or is manually reset by the player

It sure would be nice to get voice ops in MY lobbies.
Party chat = 8 people
My lobby = 16+ every Saturday night

I can’t understand why we don’t have it or have not had it in this game. Especially in this age of gaming.

It’s the one thing that really ticks me off about this game.

C’mon voice chat!

I completely agree that we need voice chat back but... I think this is why PD decided to rid of it:

I'm surprised no one ever mention Sierra de la Circuit. It's practically to longest track, lots of to drive and see. After Sierra I wouldn't need any track update anymore. Or maybe Cape Ring, Ascari Race Resort and Silverstone would be nice also.

Koenigsegg? some speculation about the cars in this image?

So I'm not sure what that first car is, maybe the Atenza Gr3 thing but I imagine it would be something European for this event. But the rest are 599 GTO, Koenigsegg, Veneno Roadster, Mercedes Vision GT, and Bugatti Vision GT. Thinking about if a 3rd party rendered this, it would be somewhat unlikely they would have Vision GTs modeled to orient and scale in this fashion..

That looks more like the 599xx not the gto, if you have a look at the rear of the roof pillars you can see 2 winglets off the side

Good point. As scenic Sierra was in GT6, I’d be curious to see what PD can do on Sport

I’d just like it to rain!! Is it ever going to happen? We have the tyres but no reason to run them. I was expecting it in the first 6 months. I hope it comes soon, make it rain Kaz!!!!. And some classic tracks like deep forest, midfield etc

Watched the past GT INTROS, 1-5&PSP.
R33 GTRLM, 3000GT, Castrol Supra, Corvette GS, Viper GTS, S2000, Alfa DTM, Nissan Primera BTCC, Audi R8 LMP Roadster, CLK DTM, Caterham Fireblade, Corvette ZR1, '09 GT-R Nismo, McLaren SLR, RE-Amemiya GT300, are the cars that stood out to me.

Hopefully, one of those make it in.

More than 3 Gr 2 cars would be nice. How can you have a racing category with 3 cars????

I was checking out the Need For Speed Shifty 2 circuit cast. It's unbelievable. That game was able to get a better real-world cast than GT Sport.

Look at this:
- Zolder
- Brno
- Spa
- Autopolis
- Hockenheim
- Catalonia
- Road America
- Dubai
- Laguna Seca
- Oschersleben
- Silvertone
- Donington

Anyway, in addition to others that are in the GTS, with the exception of Interlagos.

I just wanted the PD to be as fast in the production of circuits as other producers. Is weird! While PD produces only one game, for one console only, the other producers make their games on a fixed term and for several platforms, and still deliver several circuits.

I know of the excellence of PD, but it would be very good for her to hire outsourced people to produce new circuits. Even hire the staff of other producers for this. They would already have the know-how.

It would be perfect for PD to bring SPEC 2.0 in late October. Five circuits and 50 cars. It would be a gimmick for those who gave up and got frustrated with GT SPORT.

Hell yeah! All these LPs just ruined the original design.
Well I have to disagree. Although original Murciélago has a great design, the big flat front wall was a bit controversial back then. I remember buying a Road&Track magazine back in 2001 and really thinking the only part I dislike was that. To my surprise it was commented by reviewers too. Lp640 solved that part and it made the car more up to date back in 2006. I woldn't mind to have both in game really.

Just culled my garage to one of each Group. Haven't done the N800/900/1000(deleted the gift ones I had- I just do stuff like this).

I figure, if a Zonda is coming, I'd tune that to 800(if possible). Next, weird there's only one normal N1000, in the Bugatti. A Konigsegg or P1 GTR, would do nicely. Which, leaves an N900. I'd guess a 918 Spyder may be in at some point.

I rarely use the higher N cars anyway. No problem to wait for them in this game or the next.

I'll go try again:

With the Pagani Zonda C12S and the Subaru Impreza 22B being mentioned to come back to GT Sport I added them to the car wishlist, as well as with the photo showing a Ferrari 599 XX and a Koenigsegg there.

October (One-Year Anniversary) Update Wishlist:

This update will further improve on the functionality of the game whilst adding the usual new cars and tracks. There will be slightly more freedom within the game but you still cannot save while offline.

2. Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6) '06 (N500)

4. Gran Turismo Red Bull X2014 Fan Car (Gr. X)
5. Honda S2000 '06 (N200)
6. Koenigsegg Agera R '13 (N1000) - New to series
7. Mazda RX-8 Type S '07 (N300)
8. Nissan Silvia spec-R AERO (S15) '02 (N300)
9. Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3 '00 (N600) - Standard converted to super premium
10. Peugeot 905 Evo 1 Bis LM '92 (Gr. 1) - Standard converted to super premium
11. Subaru Impreza Coupe 22B-STI Version '98 (N300) - Standard converted to super premium

Tracks:
Circuit de Catalunya (GP, National, School Circuit)

Campaign:
Circuit Experience for Fuji Speedway added
New campaign events added (both new events and new rounds to existing events) to reflect the new cars and tracks.

Scapes:
New scapes have been added.

Functionality:
"My Library" and "Brand Central" are now available offline.
You can access downloaded photos, replays and other content from Discover mode in "My Library" even when offline.
Songs from Transmission Mode are added to My Library and are now part of the original music playlist.

Brand Central however has certain limitations when offline, such as:
  • You cannot access brand channels or their official websites offline.
  • The use of the Playstation Store to purchase cars using real currency will remain unavailable offline.
  • You cannot sign driver contracts for certain manufacturers for Sport Mode when offline.
Livery Editor:
It is now possible to use decals and liveries downloaded from Discover mode into the Livery Editor when offline.
Latitude and longitude position of decals, as well as size, angle of rotation are added to aid users in creating liveries.

Arcade Mode:
All the cars in the game, as well as any future cars added in future updates, can be used for free in Arcade Mode, replacing the eight cars that were originally to be used as "recommended cars".

The car selection are as follows:
Garage Cars (cars you have bought and owned in your Garage)
Gr. N (then select from N100 up to N1000)
Gr. 4
Gr. 3
Gr. 2
Gr. 1
Gr. B
Gr. X

You cannot tune Arcade Mode cars in any way (with the exception of downforce for race cars and other specific cars) or upgrade them using Mileage Points. You also cannot apply custom liveries as well.

Hell yeah! All these LPs just ruined the original design.
The same can be said about the Aventador.

Please PD, put in the Koenigsegg, the Veneno Roadster and Ferrari 599 Evo... Oh wait I probably shouldn't say that, as I poo-pooed people who constantly complain about the lack of supercars.

That looks like the original Agera but I hope Polyphony would do the Agera R. Polyphony having Koenigsegg into Gran Turismo could be similarly portrayed to how we have Porsches now. I guess right after Porsche arrived, Koenigsegg might well be the most desired manufacturer that fans would want in Gran Turismo right now. They were licensed to Playstation because of Driveclub so maybe Polyphony could probably have that same blessing.

And if you look closely that's the original Ferrari 599 XX. The 599 XX Evoluzione had the big rear wing on it.

Somehow a Veneno roadster would be redundant as we already have the coupe in the game since the very start.

I'm not going to form a possible list of what the update cars can be, but rather just list candidates that could easily be in this update. Note, this is based on what cars have been added already.

Mitsubishi:
- 1999 Lancer Evolution VI TME SCP
- 2006 Lancer Evolution IX GSR, with the Evolution IV GSR being a GT6 premium added to the series. It seems that there's a possibilty of these two Evos eventually following. If PD were to add more Mitsubishis soon, I think these would be the most likely.

Nissan:
- Skyline GT-R KPGC10 1970
- Fairlady 240ZG 1971 (Both are based on the constant trend of PD adding historic cars to GTS and they already have added a few Nissan models already)
- 2007 Fairlady Z Version S Coupe (Z33)
- 2009 Fairlady Z Coupe (Z34), both Z cars are based on the idea of PD seemingly adding mainly Nissan's premium cars from GT6 so far (Skylines and 300ZX). I believe that this could continue with either of these.

Subaru:
- 2005 Impreza Sedan WRX STI Type RA
- 2010 Impreza Sedan WRX STI
- 2008 Impreza WRX STI Hatchback (similar reason to the Zs, the 22B shown indicates that PD might be ready to add more Subarus after the 22B or with it in the next pack)
- 1958 360, this is the most out of left field on this subaru list, but it's based on the previous additions of historic small cars. The Mini Cooper, VW Beetle, and Fiat 500.

Toyota:
- 1989 Minolta 88C-V Race Car - With the Nissan R92CP being added, it's clear to me that PD is not done with making premium versions of the standard Group C cars from GT5 & 6.
- 1998 Celica GT-Four ST205 - If PD were to add another Toyota road car, I think this Celica would be very likely. The previous premiumized standard Toyotas were the JZA80 Supra RZ and the SW20 MR2 GT-S. They're both Toyotas made in the late 90s, so is this Celica.
- 1983 Sprinter Trueno AE86 GT-Apex - This is if PD is open for adding more 80s cars now, the 1988 Supra 3.0GT Turbo A is an indicator that they are.

Shelby:
- 1965 GT350 Mustang - Both Cobras are now in GTS, so the GT350 is the next logical addition. Another reason is that PD has already added a couple of muscle cars. The Dodge Challenger R/T and 1971 Mustang Mach 1.

Porsche:
- 962 Race Car, this is one of the more wild guesses on this list. I'm guessing it for if PD continues to add Group C race cars to the list and based on that there were 2 Porsche models added in the previous update.

Lamborghini:
- Countach Anniversary Edition 1988
- Murcielago LP640, 4 Lamborghinis from GT6 have been added already, so either of these could be next in line.

@RandomCarGuy17 : Liked a lot of your cars on the list. Hopefully if cars like the Subaru 360, Nissan Z series or Group C cars get added, it will give the potential for GT League to expand. Enjoyed the Sambabus/Beetle races and something similar would work with the Mini, Fiat 500, Subaru 360 and Beetle, maybe like a "Historic Small Car Cup" or something along those lines.

I think it would more likely be akin to the lightweight K car cup, world compact league, or something.

To note, I forgot a few more cars to consider.

Suzuki:
- Cappuccino, I am guessing this due to the addition of the Honda Beat. This is a similar kind of car and PD has added the Suzuki Swift earlier in the year. So, it fits.

Mazda:
Jeez, how could I forget about Mazda? Polyphony Digital has added 4 cars from them and I'm not sure that they'll stop. Each of those Mazdas were premium cars in GT6 and I believe these would follow.
- Eunos Roadster (NA) 1989
- Eunos Roadster J-Limited 1991
- Roadster (NC) 2006
- RX-8 Type S 2006

Honda:
- S800 1968, continuing the historical car additions present in the updates. I would say it's unlikely, but I didn't expect the Honda Beat or NSX-R either.
- S2000 2006
- Civic EK9 Type R 1997

Okay, other than these and what I mentioned in the previous post. I have no idea. Maybe another GT awards car or something.

This is sensationalist at best. This NFS game came out inbetween GT6/5. Back then, GT did have several of the tracks on this list, in addition to many more. It's pretty clear that track licensing has gotten much more complicated (and expensive) than it was 8 years ago.

What current NFS game has any of the tracks GT Sport has? None. That's right, they've all been street racing games for years.
