According to Kaz himself today on a live stream,, the scapes are actually photos, but contain lighting and spacial information, so you can move the cars around "inside" of them :crazy:

The photo mode forum is what originally brought me here (to look at not to post) and I can't wait to see what the professionals here can do in GTS now that interior shots are in.

@zzz_pt maybe update the thread title? Now that one of your/our concerns is actually confirmed to be included?
 
We can make photos in garage, so first 3D location is probably confirmed.

Or it's just an option to add a different picture as your garage background. ;) Hoping I'm wrong and you're right though. :D

Nah, if this option exist, it's probably in "Garage Settings" menu.
