GT Sport progress not downloading

My "old" ps4 died recently and got it replaced with a new ps4 pro.

Now I want to play GTS again but for some reason I cant get the game to download the data from psn has anyone ever had this issue before?

Did you transfer your local gamesave from one console to the other?

There are two parts to the save. The online part is automatic. The on system part stores your cars and credits locally. You can manually unload that to the cloud if you have Plus and download it on another machine. It may have done this automatically as well as game saves do get uploaded. Check the cloud to see if it is there.

Yes i did upload a backup to the new ps4

All files are on the Playstation aswell as uploaded to the cloud.

The game just keeps saying game data is being downloaded and I cant do anything other then Arcade...

Game says its Ver.01.08.9057188E so I dunno if its grabbing a update. I doubt it tho it just keeps saying it for hours now

Can you provide any screenshots?

I know the game used to give this error when it was downloading anything from the psn but thats the thing my ps4 isnt downloading anything atm

A few minutes ago I found a PS4 update waiting to install. 5.03. Apparently it has been waiting to update since Thursday. I only noticed it because I'd received a friend request. Even though I've been able to sign in and go online in the last couple of days - which you can't normally do when an update is available. Check to see if this is available to you. It could be what's stopping it downloading the save for you.
