This is a good game, I really enjoy it, there's a few things I think would make it better:
The ability to change your car livery on your car before a race from the race menu without having to always go to the garage.
In livery editor, to be able to copy decals to any part of the car, and to copy multiple decals together. Also when you enter livery editor, your changes to the livery editor options should save.
Ability to skip or customise in game soundtrack and play your own music from in game like in GT6.

ps. would like to see some tracks returning to GT in future updates such as: Grand Valley, Cote d'azur, Sarthe, Spa, Seattle and New York circuits.

SPORT MODE IMPROVEMENTS:
  • Allow for chat during the after-race period where the results are displayed
  • Allow turning off/on the Driver Names displayed in the race
  • Allow for replay directly after a race (yes guys, hard one, but you can do it)
  • Do not show Fuel warning on the last lap (if you have > 1.0 Laps of fuel left)

After reading a lot about what people "think" is "racing etiquette",imho PD should somehow force in-game lessons and streams about fair/clean racing so that players finally understand how they should "race",before letting them actually race in an "e-sport competitive" mode.

I wonder if this can be made into an incentive instead of lesson. For instance, by providing a huge credit/XP bonus in offline racing if you don't touch any of the AI opponents at all. FWIW, that's what I try to do when racing offline. It makes the game slightly more challenging.

Why not both?
Whatever it takes to make people realize how they must behave. :)
They could add ettiquette lessons where they show a quick video on a few racing situations and then force you to make a clean overtake to pass. One where your in an inside line and AI is outside line, the reverse of the former, one where you enter T1 mid pack and have to leave the corner without contact, and one where you have to pull of an over-under so that people understand the concept of backing off and slower corner entry as an advantage

I usually try to complete clean races in AI mode but the AI will stick their noses in at every opportunity. The most frustrating thing about completing clean races in AI is when you have to slow slightly for traffic ahead or brake a little early, they always rear end me.

The biggest imrovement they could make is to stop penalizing people who exit a sport mode race before the race has begun. I can sort of understand the DR and SR drop if you quit during it but before? That's Just dumb and mean spirited. I had entered the nation's race at 6pm and didn't even make it on to track but I had to quit as my kids came back home early from their grandparents. I know which deserves my attention more so I exited the game. Upon returning I had been dropped from 99 SR S to 97 but the big sting was my DR. I was a mid C at approx 6000. I'm now ONE. That's right, one solitary DR point. How is this even fair and what purpose can it serve? Utterly stupid inclusion.

I agree, especially with all the bugs in the game right now. I had to leave a nations cup race 3 days ago during the warm up because my wheel started shaking while the grid was being set up, there was no way I could have raced that way. I hold the wheel slightly off center now until each session starts, whenever there is a new session and screen changes you can feel a slight twitch in the wheel.

In the livery editor, duplicate on reverse should be an option on the triangle menu along with duplicate, delete, hide etc.

Where is the best place to learn how to do custom paint on cars? I have not figured anything out yet other than changing the color.

Bring back Practice Mode. Especially at the big tracks. If we can't pick Groups for the AI, at least make it random with three or four cars from each Group.

There could be a slider or preset for the each Group of AI, Meaning the player chooses which Groups will do what during Practice mode:
- Hot Lap, AI put in qualifying laps or Player adds ghost laps
- Taxi, just like the GT-R pace car used to guide us around the track(AI show the standard lines to take around any given circuit)
- Track Day, AI use the cars from the Player's Garage

And of course even when you get disconnected you still get punished, through absolutely no fault of your own!

I can get behind this, Having got a new ISP about 2 weeks ago my connection has been intermittent at best, On no less than 2 occasions my internet crapped out before I even got on track.

How would you put them together, though? Like there are tons of different cars/classes, not to mention how much you can tune a car...

Anyway, my contributions:
-Selecting the paint color for prize cars.
-Seeing maximum HP at which RPM in the garage, rather than just the dealership.
-Seeing the name of the color that your car is, if it's a factory color.
-Lobby/Sport Mode restrictions that can be as varied as those seen in GT League. As for the N-class races in Sport Mode, they could simply continue to prohibit tuning as usual, so we don't have M4s in an N300 race, and stuff like that.
-A little marker if you've obtained all golds in a GT League event.

And as a minor pair of questions, why is the GT-R Premium left-hand drive? Is it American-spec? Also, will there be other "tournament"-like races other than the FIA races? I recall an official mockup had a calendar of stuff like a Miata race.
