Different lighting conditions but impressive nonetheless.đź‘Ťđź‘Ť I'd love to see the same shot in brighter sunlight.

hmmm very first thing he addresses is the atrocious physics, and he makes the entire video a ...proof that everything is a.o.k. now? hmm
sorry I dont buy that. we were told they had lots of feedback from "pro drivers" first time around, plus the feedback of thousands of passionate backers, and look what it got them in the end.
this time I will wait and see.

also in the part where you say, he says he "didnt see any other game anywhere close in the same category on the ps4, looking as good other than gt sport". I mean, how many different ps4 games same category on e3?
Personally, I think gts will look (much) better, console version to console version.

Maybe it is because those are two different weather conditions. Sunny vs. cloudy.
But you're right, GTS lighting is fantastic. But best, like in the previous parts, with a bit of weather (clouds, mist.....) and not midday with bright sunlight. Can't wait for some photo shooting. :drool:

I guess Kaz is right when he says the clear day is the hardest to replicate in the game, unlike night conditions.

(I'm megahyped to see NurbĂĽrgring 24h at night)
 
I will say this, GTS does look reallly, really good.

But this thread is making me laugh really, really hard. I can't tell if people are posting comparison shots/videos being serious, or as a joke.
 
@emula Lighting in tunnel is a big problem in Forza Motorsport. I can't see anything at Rio and it seems that Forza 7 will have the same problem. But the GTSport gif is from a trailer. The least flattering aspect of Forza (lighting in tunnel) vs the most flattering (lighting in GT trailer).
By the way, the GTSport gif gives me hope for the Tokyo track:drool:

well I am a little confused because you could be right. Just the story is not a history of car age nor time of day nor angle of view ..
(At the limit the viewing angle can make appear that the light source bug and is emitted from the front of the lighthouse ..)
In fact in forza all the cars no matter how their characteristics have the same lighting system .. in daylight, dusk, etc.
Apart from the color that changes (yellow) I do not see any difference .. :odd:

Must be something wrong with the game at the bottom of this picture then. It looks a lot like Forza. I guess they have to work on their lighting a bit more.

Wow, to be honest PC looks really good. Only thing it lacks is the the effect that GTS manages to produce ie the reflection of the sun. All I can think about is the phrase: -You never notice how good you had it until you lost it. If you understand what I mean with it.

Hopefully PD will offer more than sweet graphic, because as we have seen in this example, older titles such as PC looks pretty much as good and it was released like two years ago!

GTS lighting, shadows and reflections are clearly ahead of PC.

Are you serious? I have played PCars on the PC and it's not that great to look at...

Perhaps it would be better the turn off the ingame/replay music for better comparisons purposes ( GTS really needs a sound effect slider option IMHO).

Well I mean, that's true of real life as well, so you can't really complain :lol:
 
That was no complain, I meant the comparsion between the shots with different weather conditions.

Mainly because the sound in GT is already low and the music makes it barely audible. The reverb effect is also much better in Forza and GT seems to lack in this area aswell.

And about your question: I do not think it sounds like a V6 rather it sounds raspier and more agressive compared to the GT sport mustang.
