It's because the torque gets split into all 4 tyres, therefore you have more control when you start sliding ;)

i started to drift with awds first. then. i started to drift with rwds, it seemed hard
but i praciticed, just like what everyelse said to do. I'm working on fwds right now, i gotta get a good set up:)

omg no it isnt.....4wd is so much harder imo.

but i've been raised on the behavior of rwd since i was a little kid, so i guess im just used to rwd no matter what.

AWD requires less steps (to drift) so it should be easier than the other drivetrains (this of course is only if you understand the technique of all the respected drivetrains).... I have been primarily a FR drifter for a long time.. I sat down one day and decided to drift AWD's.... In 2 days I put together all the footage for "Countersteer Zero", so what does that say about the difficulty of AWD drifting?....

As for the question....

GT2 being less realistic, makes it hard to pull off the nice smooth drifts, like you see in GT3..... It is easier to drift high HP cars in GT2 (as opposed to low HP on sims), once again due to the less realistic physics system....

Drifting well in GT2, IMHO, is much harder than in GT3... More realistic equates directly to ease of control, at least to me it does... (Hardcore sim fan, and real life driver/racer)....

;)

im borrowing my friends gt3 and i see that it IS a lot easier. i cant really do like full drifts cuz i cant afford parts for my trueno, but i tried complex string and if im hitting a turn at a certain speed i could do a tiny with normal tires. i only have 900bucks i need more money wut should i do i wanna drift b4 i have to give it back
