(GT3 Drift Vid) The Art of AWD

Well, don't expect to see the 95 degree+ angle drifts with no countersteer. It just isn't possible. However, I can get up to 90 degrees with no countersteer. After 90 degrees, you need countersteer to straighten the car out...... Furthermore, I am not a big fan of the plus 90 degree drifts. IMHO, they look unrealistic, not to mention, the level of control is quite diminished, when you get to those angles..........

;)

hmmm i'm working on a new vid.. it is strictly going to be skylines or maybe even the evo... should be comming soon.. i got adobe premiere too =D MORE ANGLE THIS TIME SD

true 90+ angles look too unrealistic but dam does it show how much control u have

Well, the +90 degree angles, with countersteer, do not show how much control you have. It is quite easy to do those drifts, because all you have to do is: Countersteer to full lock, while keeping the revs really high (unless your heading off the track, in which case, you can let the revs drop a little to gain a fraction more grip, to pull you back towards the inside of the turn). Whereas No countersteer drifts take more precision, and timing to get a good angle at the beginning of the corner, and hold (or add and subtract), using a combination of your throttle, and brakes (and/or e-brake)........

;)

well in that case lol how about 90+ degrees using only throttle LOL good luck doing that

Somehow, I think you completely misread my post..........

;)

haha yea sounds i did but what i really meant was how its not possible haha just joking around

haha thanks, i've just started working on bigger angles as well as the FR drivetrain with 86 and the altezza :)

ahha new vid comming soon w/ 4WD and FR cars all together...wow FR was hard to get used to

thats because you have been using AWD cars...Its very different.... Thats why most people start with FR so they dont get stuck with learning how to drift for another 2-4 weeks

haha well in my opinion, i should really stick to 4WD cuz i think that makes me stick out ahha as opposed to when i'm driving an FR drivetrain cuz everyone drives FR lol
well "Art of AWD II" will be comming soon featuring 4 different skylines haha"
