Just wondered if anyone has a gt3 save with quite a few hybrid cars on it?
I downloaded one but its in foreign, so i would prefer an english one, with some awesome cars on preferably..Thanks in advance guys..👍

I dont mean this to sound rude but couldnt you make some awesome hybrids yourself The 1 GT Master ?

I have some on a save. I think its fun to try out other people's hybrids, but I felt the most fun came from making my own .. đź’ˇ

I've attached the save to this post, (I had to attach in zip since for .xps the file size limit is 100 kb, my file was 110kb), all of the cars in it, I've hybrided except I think about 3 of them,
a yellow Z06 Vette
a Viper GTS that is low rider style
a Integra "drag" type car

A few of the cars were low on priority list so I proly dint do anything w\ them as far as testing, you find too that not ALL of the power add-ons have been equipped, I think they are purchased just not necessarily equipped on every car. ..

My fav is the Zonda Race Car ^_~ and well if you want to see something crazy, take the V8 Vantage out on the complex string or test track

Thanks for the reply, the main reason i wanted a save is so i could make my own awesome hybrids but as i am a beginner in hybriding i wanted to compare to make sure i was doing it right.I have tried before but couldn't even compare to some of the hybrids i have seen on various videos and stuff.
Especially the GTGenome vid, that was amazing.
Thanks for the save BTW i will be sure to test it and give you my feedback..

o ok, some of the cars I did in that save are also for specific races, that is, alot of races were for Altezza or Audi TT, Vitz etc .. Note that the cars being shiney, that effect can be removed by simply washing the car, it can only be restored by altering the value in the .INI file or I spose a code might keep the effect from being removed ...

I am guessing you have a cheat device, you definately need the no tire wear, code (tires stay green)
or your tires will be history in no time..

That code and quite a few others are here
http://www.angelfire.com/games3/GTsaga/gamesharkcodes.html

Ofcourse there is a code converter to convert to different cheat devices here
http://www.codemasters-project.net/portal-english/apportal/download.php?list.2
Maxconvert_v0_71 is the name of the file,

Anyways, the downforce I have on alot of cars is input in lines 292 and 296 as value 0
This gives a result in MKs prog as 42949672.95

ylg told me about that a long time ago and I've since used it, it doesnt work best for ALL cars, some you need to pick values like 2.05 or something for front and rear DF ..

I'm wondering what cheat device and version you have ?

Rogs was mentioning something about using an Action Replay Max Drive I think ?, I'm assuming its a usb thumbdrive used to copy the save from your memory card to it and then you can stick it in the USB port of your PC and then be able to access your save, you might need to use a program called Ps2 save builder found here
http://www.ps2savetools.com/download.php?op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=74&ttitle=PS2_Save_Builder

so you can change the file type from the max drive to an .sps or .xps so that you can then open the file w\ Mk's program ..

I'm curious though, I thought the Action Replay Max Evo w\ its flashdrive had a memory manager in it, I thought you could use it to get your saves off your memcard and then onto your PC, hmm ...

If you need any help w\ anything, please dont hesitate to ask and ofcourse there is help documentation in MK's GT EditorV38 .. :)

Just tried your save and there was no save present when i started the game.
I already have the .xps to .max converter and i converted your save, used my AR max evo pen drive to transfer to my memory card, when i look in the browser the save is there but when i start the game it says there is no save there.I have transfered a few saves this way so i know it works, Is it a PAL or NTSC save??? I am from u.k so i use PAL..So if yours is NTSC it wouldn't work.

o, I didn't know that yours was PAL< mine is NTSC : \
I thought there'd be a way to convert it to PAL, hmm, I think there is one way I could send you some cars, that the .INI files, I could just change the "region" to EU right ?!

I'll try that and then zip em and stick em on here, then you can import them into MKS into your own save, what you will have to do FIRST is, buy some cars in the game so that you can import mine to overwrite those cars, that ways you won't be overwriting any of your own cars...

I usually just go to the first cheap car I dont like and buy like 5, 10 of them or whatever, then I can import other peoples cars over those, leaving all mine intact ;)

Okie, there are 19 cars in this zip, I got a lil carried away ;) I already changed the "region" to EU so hopefully you can import them into your save in MKs :)

Thats the ticket..👍 You are the man:bowdown:
Ive copied the ini files to my save and it works, just had a quick blast in the Zonda, whoooo, that thing is fast,Which is your best car BTW?? Ive copied most of them but i didn;t have enough cars in my garage for them all..

Coolies ^_^

Actually, the Zonda is my fav, I tinkered and tinkered w\ that thing, stickin the F1 chassis on, plus F1 wheels/tires, DF & the HP multiplier, ... when I started out w\ it, I only had lil over a 1000 hp, then as I learned more about hybriding and then adjusted settings alot, I finally got it where I wanted it. I use the stick instead of automatic in all my cars, I just like the control better ...

You can still kick up the tail end of it and other cars, but I've adapted quite well to driving the cars hard, shifting through gears every few seconds, stabbing on the brakes, then back on the gas etc ... It can get pretty intense especially on smaller tracks .. but its my #1 car ^_~

The car I worked on for quite awhile before it was the CL600, it also takes the F1 chassis 459kg ... I usually can take the first turn on Complex string at over 200 mph in it =oP

Its pretty cool, I stuck the Falcon race car engine in it, I change engines in cars mainly for sound, not because of power since you can put as much power as you want...

Just like the Cobra R Mustang, I put the Shelby Cobra engine in it, it just sounds better to me ..
The CL600 has great accel and great stopping, the one problem I've had was, sometimes as you get up to speed and shift to 6th, it tends to have a stiff bounce and gives like a blip..blip..blip type of effect ..

Not enough cars, that ofcourse was what I was talking about, having to buy xtra cars to import these over top of ...

Anyways, why not put some of your fav .INI hybrids in a zip on here ?
I mean I'd like to try some of them, GT4 is well, on the back burner for me right now, really all v games are, just dont have the time but ... If there was hybriding for GT4 I'd make more time, maybe one day I can play the game through w\ hybrids as a first time playing since I've only hit 18 % then stopped ..

I have a PAL save somewhere...

My favourite car on the save is a high downforce EVO V with about 1500 HP. One of the most interesting though is a Falcon XR8 with F1 chassis and Diablo engine (tuned). Less than 1000 HP but it will drive Midfield without a need to brake until the sharp left hander before the tunnel. There are details of that car on my Web site in the GT3 section here:

http://www.rogs.dial.pipex.com/gt3p1.htm#Falcon

Although it gives the upgrades as codes it is easy to substitute the correct parts in MK's program as there are not too many changes to the car.

I will be posting the .ini's in a few days time, ive been working on a Nissan R390 road car for a while now and it is amazing if i do say so myself. I can post the full save if you would prefer, then you can extract the .ini's yourself because there are a few cars i would like to share and maybe get some feedback on

ok coolies, T1GT

Rogs, I noticed you used the SVT st 3 wt reduction, but people kept telling me that the st 3 of the V8 Vantage made the most difference, I really dont know, I never studied it to see if it really made a difference ...

I might see about making those changes to a Falcon and see how it does ^_~

I couldn't believe the car when I drove it with the ridiculous cornering speeds. To take most of Midfield flat out is amazing. Not the easiest handling car admittedly (a bit sensitive with its steering) but for the low(ish... less than 1000 HP) it could get some very good lap times.

aight Rogs, I tried it, that is a coooel car, I like it, it had something like 1177hp w\ the st 3 speedster NA on it I mean this was w\ out changing oil or break-in period etc ...

I hit about 220mph, I had the gears like you said, basically just sliding the "auto" to 41 made all the gears what you said 3.5 - .747 for 1-6

I stayed on the track only coming off on 1 or 2 turns, one where the car jumped the rumble strip and the other just poor judgement, but I wouldnt count it, because it was in my opinion borderline...

I came out at 317.492 around the complex string on one lap, no practicing etc ...

Then I have changed some things w\ the car, I added the DF value I usually use in 292,296 =0

I also changed the wt reduc to that v8 vantage and saw no difference in weight, I mean both cars were 459kg the lightest they can be ...
I then changed the engine to zonda race car, so it'd be close to what my zonda has, I then changed the value of line 440= -3455

This again to bring it close to my zonda, interestingly there was a st3 NA available so the end result was 3505 hp in-game.. I slid the "auto" all way right and I slid gears 1-6 to the far left..

The car flew around the track, it sprayed sparx the whole time =oP It would been fewer sparx had I upped the height ..

I hit about 270 mph and did complex string in 1 lap no practice in 249.341 a difference of 68.151, for doubters, yes I saved the replays

If you want some serious accel, its got it, phew, there were times when I just couldnt get on the gas cause the car would've ran out of road before I could steer towards it =oP

It keeps you on your toes or well "fingers" driving a car like that in a fast/aggressive manner ...
Your version gives a much more controlled drive, you dont have to stab as hard/often on the brakes and keep shifting through gears so quickly, it makes for a great car I think ...

I'll stick my version on here, whether you or somebody else might wanna try it out .. As you know, for PAL you would just change the .INI's "region" to EU ;)

Glad you liked the basic car. I suppose with your current set up you have to brake more ofter at Midfield?

Well Rogs, I actually thought it pretty decent on Midfield, I mean I did have to get on the brakes at times here or there but mostly just letting off the gas and steering the car is the main thing because when you touch the brakes the car really STOPS, so I found it better to let off the gas, I did a quick lap of Midf in 42.300, I'm sure that as w\ any, the more laps you run, the more you practice the track and the car, times will get even lower, obviously 2nd laps are lower than first ones unless you hit walls, spin out etc ...

The replay of it is pretty cool heh...
Anyways, I never really drove it much, I just used its engine in a few different cars since it sounded racey but I say it was a good car to hybrid ;)

It was pretty much an accident. I was searching for a body to use with an F1 chassis and found the XR8. I then decided I'd try it as an FR and picked an engine.
