your not american either... wow...lol... didnt think other people liked most modern american cars...

Well, I like quite a few American cars...:)

Dodge - no, that Focus ISN'T and never will be a production car. It's a design concept. As such it has never been built - or even thought of being built. Where on Earth Shinez is pulling performance figures from I don't know, since the car doesn't exist...

bengee - There was an estimated production run of 220 in 1985/1986. No-one knows just how many are left, but the very last car built was the single RS200 GTO. The looks are... on the edge of outrageous frankly.

The rally version of the RS200 pulled a 2.3s 0-62mph with Stig Blomqvist at the wheel. The road version of the RS200 Evo pulled a world record 0-62mph time of 3.06s driven by Graham Hathaway in 1994. This record still stands for production road cars. The RS200 came with 350hp, the Evo with 600hp, the GTO had 800hp and rally versions could be tuned up to 850hp if necessary.

Sadly, they were too fast for their own good, and after a few driver and spectator deaths at the hands of group B cars, the class was banned... :(

Incidentally, that should show the Escudo PP who's boss come GT4 :D

so sad... that is dam fast for a road car... 3.06 i will remember that... when i design and form my own car company i will remember what to beat... that acc and a cornering force of 1.5 g's ( largest i can find)... lol... i can dream... is the rs200 gonna be in gt4 famine... do you know... poor group b...wow 600 hp... in that lil car...... so only one gto exists... probably y i didnt know bout the gto... even 350 is extremeley good and could beat the pants of an road version of a modern day rally car.... what crazy ideas those engineers must have had...

yeah the rs200 isnt a grceful car ( on the edge of outragdeous) but that is not its point.. and those head lights are funny... :)... you sure do know a lot about a such a rare car... i think i have known and admired that car for almost 4 years now and i havent been able to find anything on it... most are probably used in historical rallies huh

Oh thank God it's not production! Yeh, the RS200 still holds the record for production cars but a privately built "Tiger" brand of car (looks similar to the Caterham 7) did a 2.97 with a guy from Fifth Gear at the wheel...:D

Yeah, the Tiger Z1 is pretty bizarre. But it's not officially production yet, and hasn't been officially timed under Guinness guidelines... Two 1.3i bike engines, mated to two gearboxes which can link into a single gearstick, or kept shifted separately...

bengee - yep, sadly a lot of them are trashed weekly in rallies. The GTO has never moved AFAIK. And of course it's a mostly British affair. Ford Europe money, Cosworth engine, Reliant fibreglass body and Tickford tuned... :D

i think the only good fords were sold in europe lol... my opinion no offense meant to anyone who loves there stang
