Im not at all surprised at how many GT500 series are available to join here at GTP. I am however curious why there isnt as many GT300 series. i do enjoy the "bigger" cars, but the competion the 300 class offers is to much fun. I personally enjoy the 300 class more then the 500 class.im simply looking for others that agree and may be interested in a GT300 series.

not always, one race it will be a class race, so gt500 in one lobby, gt300 in another, then the next race is half gt500, half gt300 split into two diversions depending on your quali times.

I also would be interested in a GT300 Series but would need to know the extent of it etc.

i would think the same rules as Gamesta's GT500 series would be ideal.i havent found a problem with any of the rules in that series.

I am definetly in for this I have 2 cars ready to get setup just when do you want o run the races times and day?

If our friends in the u.k. are interested I would suggest doing it after our sunday race. Or maybe saturday evening. I would like to try to accommodate all who are interested.

I will more than likey be able to make it after the race on Sunday but Saturday Evenings will be hit or miss for me.

A GT300 sounds good. Sunday afternoons is also a good time for me. If you kick this off, count me in. PSN: xonant

I'd be up for joining this as well, just I can't make after the GT500 race on Sunday, I barely make it through that before I have to leave haha! I'd prefer Saturday evening GMT myself, but go for what the majority wants :)

Let's feel out out a time during the week maybe. Another thougt I had would be to include the NSX RM. can anyone tell me how many GT300 cars are in GT5?

I was bouncing this Idea around a couple months ago to run a GT300 series including RM cars like the Silvia,Civic,NSX and EVO and with the weight ballast and horsepower limiting it is quite possible as all the Super GT GT300 cars listed above are 300hp 1100kgs.

We ran a GT300 race in Monday Night Endurances last week. If you're wondering why few people are running straight GT300 championships it's because there are so few GT300 cars in the game, and the cars that are there come from a variety of years with varying class rules and limits on HP and weight. It's way way way more complicated than putting a 300HP limit on the race.

You miss the C-West Razo Advan Silvia from Standard's.

I am in if it will be after our gt 500 , I have gt300 cars ready to race only sunday for me

with that list of cars, along with the NSX RM, i would like to get a good 20 - 30 lap race in this week with as many of you that can participate. with the hp at 305 and the weight at 1100, i think we can have alot of fun with this.

You are also missing a WEDS Sport Celica that is Standard.

I would run in a GT300 series but i would set the cars up @ 540-545 PP, otherwise its going to turn into the RX7 festival.

I say get some pre season testing going before the racing, see how big the performance gaps are! Can gauge how matched some RMs are as well if you wanna include 'em

I have most of the cars in the list so I will go do some laps to see where they stand as well as some RM's with those regs to see if they match up.

keep track of your lap times next time you guys are running your GT300 cars so you can post em here.id like to see what you guys are pulling out while im testing some of these cars.

We ran a GT300 class series a couple of months ago and all those cars were close enough in performance that no tweaking of HP or PP was necessary. Don't make the mistake that too many series do and start including cars that are not Super GT 300 cars, or use different rules/limits for different cars....... Run the SuperGT 300 cars as they are and you will have very competitive racing.

BTW: anyone that thinks it will turn into an RX7 festival has obviously not ran much with SuperGT 300 cars. :)
