I'd fight for the Subaru simulator :dopey: lol

Wow, a lot of posts for just one day.. hehe. Took a bit of reading. :)

I'm still interested to find out which version of LeMans is there (or if there are multiples, which ones), and whether the DeLorean mentioned earlier is indeed the classic DMC-12. :)

If I remember correctly, I THINK there were two variations of the Circuit De La Sarthe... as for the DeLorean... its the classic one... Back To The Future...

Thanks for the info!

Just one thing. Has anyone seen any SUVs in screen shots and/or demos?
I really hope there isn't any, those things just aren't made for racing.

TWO versions... :D :D :D I bet you one is current and the other is pre-1990 and the whole Mulsanne!!!

Cause the track they use for the Superbikes is the Bugatti Circuit...

Wohooo. 2 different Le Mans tracks AND the old De Lorean! I cain't wait any longer. This to great to be true.
Give me the ****ing game right now.

I'm not 100% sure there are two variations... I was only able to get a quick glance at the track selections... but for sure, I saw the Circuit De La Sarthe in GT4 at the AGS (for all those doubters out there)... now is that the actual LeMans circuit? I believe so...

as for my F1 at the Grand Canyon pic... it was intentional (kinda like that earlier photo of the BMW McLaren F1 in that old japanese village)... I figured, if I was gonna do a photo of an F1 car, why not put it in the most unlikely place... most photos of F1 cars are in the city and whatnot anyway... what are the chances of an F1 team doing a photo shoot at the canyon?

Yay the old DeLorean :D

/Looks up at the large die-cast model of one above his computer with its brushed stainless steel effect body which has collected twice as much dust as the other model cars.

It's obviously not a second version. People are jumping the gun. You can't even trust those photos because they could be of a tuned car.

Why are we discussing horsepower ratios when we could be finding out some new, exclusive info? I'm pretty confused here.

I notice the 571 number is in HP, and the 799 number is PS. Could the difference between the two units account for that? What is "PS" anyway?

Ya, 2 more Clios = double the fun!

Nice to see another Clio lover. Maybe we can do a two-player soon!
I will need to adjust one.

Cheers,

MasterGT
I just hope Clio Williams was in.

GTXLR
i thought HP and PS were almost identical in value.
I just checked in the demo. Metric units sets it to PS, which gives the Falken Skyline 500 PS; standard units gives it 493 HP. Different, but not enough to account for the difference in power of that LMP.

the guy named sinner was at te AGS and he saw ''the Circuit De La Sarthe ''(le mans)
in GT4 thats super news i you ask me !!!!!!!!! 👍 👍 👍

Maybe the one in the second picture is modified or something. Most likely thing is that one of the two is just an updated version of the game with the correct HP number.

As for the power outputs of the LMPs, I do believe that they are all restricted to 550hp or so they say, at least for the current ones. I know that they were pushing at least 600 prior to 04. It was in a car magazine, they tested an R8 and talked to i believe Allain McNish and he was commemnting on what a great car it is with 550hp, but how much better it would be with 700, 800, or 900hp.

I'll try to find the article and let you know what mag.

and just what are SUV's made for? ;-)

lets see, they can't carry as much stuff as a truck, they are more prone to accidents than any car, they consume far more gas than a car, they're expensive, and sometimes even bigger than "normal" suv's (the H2 for example). the only thing i can see this thing is good for is maybe the advvantage of being able to carry 7 people while towing something... but that's about it.

Because of their high torque they're great for drag racing. Not to mention there are hundreds of racing trucks and SUVs out there.

And let's go for the obvious; rally. That's fun stuff right there.

Just ingore them if you don't want them in. It's as simple as that; don't hijack this thread for it.

So is there anymore new info yet Sinner?
