Ahhh, okay. Too bad it isn't an all-new model, like a... F002S (Ferrari F2002 *2002 car* Schumacher) or 2003 or 2004, or something along the lines of that, oh well

I'm pretty sure that the F1 car that is modelled after is ABIT older than that, the part that tends me to say this is the nose is not 'raised' as is now the norm, and started by the 1994 Benetton I believe...

Don't you discredit my source! :grumpy:

Yea, it is an old picture as you can see it's got the Prologue style interface. An article can be found here.

O, that sexy beast. I hope le mans is in, damn, with all these lm cars not having the track would be odd.

You didn't read my post correctly. I said:

Not that it was a 2002 model :)
What I was saying is, I hope that there will be cars based on more current F1 cars, like stated above, a F002/S, or something like that.

I'd really really really like to see a pic of the F1 in GT4. I bet if there are more in GT4 they will be win only cars just like they were in GT3.

It could have been this one:

That's a 1994 Williams FW16. AKA, F094/s in GT3.

Sinner, your sins have been forgiven. Welcome to Heaven.

Before I begin, let me ask. Why are people against F1 cars in the GT series? They're race cars. I'm not a real big fan of Formula One, but they are wonderful machines and can compete against Le Mans prototypes. It's fitting that with this show in Hong Kong (the New York City of the East, I hear), saying that GT fans will be able to race GT-style on the streets of Hong Kong. Nice pictures. I'm going to agree with CobraGT, or whoever it was, who said that this demo was far from complete. Anytime you get a chance to see pictures of an unfinished game that people wait ages to own and play, it's a great feeling. You dig me? Anyhow, if you Hong Kong folks care to share more info on this soon-to-be modern-day classic, be sure to share your findings on GTPlanet. Other than that, sounds good.

I would like to see a few more tracks, cars, features, and that sort of thing. So all the stuff CobraGT, ALPHA, and especially Amar212 want to know about this build of GT at this show, can't wait to learn more about this deal. Then when you get a chance, I kind of want to ask some more questions later. You know, journalism and all that. Take care and make us proud, Sinner!

it seems AGS had their GT4 linked up to allow 6 people to race together
then some people can use F1 to cheat
for me, I don't mind F1 being included
as long as I can race with other F1s
its still lots of fun
I did a F1 ilink battle with my friend 6 months ago
I just love it

Now ON topic. As I've stated, you can always improvise your multiplay. I consider LAN battles multiplay, if not online play and here's why. As long as you're playing outside of your computer to connect to someone else's to play a game, that's online play. You establish a connection to someone else's unit, then play them. It's online play to me. In addition to all the no online play deal of months ago, if using LANs to battle others will do, that's perfectly fine if you want to play against someone else. I see this being a good deal for people to "prepare" for the full-blown, online-ready version of GT4. If I was to play against others somplace, I wouldn't mind LAN play. It's only as long as I have the GT4 experience I've known and loved since the first day.

Hey peeps... went back to the AGS today, but my attempt to take photos was a complete failure... #1 because almost everyone there chose cars that we've seen before (evos, GTRs, BMWs, mercs, etc) and frankly not worth taking... #2 its hard to play and take photos at the same time... having said that I did get a chance to play around with the photo-mode and got a little souvenir**... however, when I was going through the car list (My Garage) in the photo mode I noticed that they spelled the BMW McLaren "MacLaren"... anyway... I also test drove the Alfa 155 (a personal fav) as well as the Mclaren SLR... I ran the alfa at Tsukuba (wet) and the SLR at Monaco... the alfa had a pretty nice sound to it... a high distinct pitch could be heard at the higher revs... but with the wet track, there was tons of understeer... the backfire was also pretty cool with the 4 exhaust tips... I also noticed that the backfire effects was different for each car... the impreza-rally had a rounder 'flame', while the JGTCs had a sharper/narrower burst... which tells me that they're not just generic backfire effects... as for the SLR, in the higher revs, there also a distinct supercharger-like sound... as for the other cars I saw, DMC has one car, a delorean... there was also the Jay Leno Tank/car... trackwise, I saw the Circuit De La Sarthe (LeMans) anyway... sorry for my lack of media... but I'll try to answer as much as I can...

** damn, my attachment's 500K, over the 100K limit... any suggestions? too lazy to rescan...

Looks like they got the supercharger sound right for the SLR then :D. Great, thanks for the info. De La Sarthe...isn't that Le Mans?

As I suspected the "Le Sarthe" the unofficial LEMANS :D

Any Other Tracks you can remember?

Yes circuit de la sarth is the name of the LeMans circuit, it's not the unofficial name though it is THE name. People call that circuit LeMans because of the LeMans 24hr which is the name of the race not the track.

Unofficial as in PDs attempt to get the circuit in, I assumed.
Much like Monaco is Cote D'Azure.

De La Sarthe eh??? Sweet Le Mans is in then... now I wonder in what configuration... don't suppose you got a pic with someone driving it???

De La Sarthe, Cote D'Azure... I don't care how they name them...

Now what's the substitute names for Spa, Bathurst, Monza and (old) Hockenheim...

Theres probably less money to pay when excluding the LeMans tag but to call it Circuit de La Sarth means they must have a license for it. Hey Sinner thanks for all the info, pity theres no pics but they'll come in time from other sources.

Time for a little back peddling Live4speed? Maybe I should dig that old thread up…
