did you get any pics of the track selection? I'd love to see the De La Sarthe circuit :D Did you see a good selection of cadillacs. I hope more are in besides the cien :indiff:
 
Did you notice any new JGTC(I wonder what ones from GT2 will make it back?) or DTM cars?
I would like to know what DTM teams A4 we are getting :D

Two days before the official release date, that means 26/12.......(blind guess, but GT4P released 1.5 days earlier last year)

If you pre-ordered from Sony, then you can get one on 28/12.
 
Actually looking at that pull down list of manufacturers, quite a few are missing: Alpine, Amuse, ASL, Autobianchi, Bentley, Blitz, Buick, Cadillac, Callaway, Cizeta, DMC, Dome, Eagle, Ginetta, HKS, Hommell, Infiniti, Isuzu, Jensen, Marcos...

yeah, thats my guess too... but I got Metal Gear like on Monday (12/13), when its release date was 12/16... this led to me to believe that we MIGHT/Hopefully get it earlier than that... just wondering if you've heard anything... oh well...

didn't bother going through sony for a pair of gloves and a neckstrap...

I'm a bit confused by the list of the 4 Renault Lucetias (Clios).

We have a 2002 Clio Renault Sport 2.0 16V, which is this car:

Le Mans is really tearing me apart.. To sleep properly, I need to see some screens soon.. Curious to see the layout.. Old or new..? But, in one week, the forum should be filled with info and screens/videos.. Will this condition last for another week...? Someone find a cure for this insomnia..
 
Sorry guys, I hadn't taken a glance on what real tracks are in.

Btw, the sound effect of the game is improved. I heard some "gip gip" sound when I drove GT-One over the "Red-White strip" on the side of the road. (Can anyone tell me what is the correct term in English?). And when TCS kicks in, the engine output seems limited and the engine sound becomes a little strange when TCS is activating. My friend told me he hear that sound in real F-1 race car, but I am not sure what he mentioned is true.
 
i think i know what you mean. you ever heard modern day f1 cars at full revs. the engine note seems low and croaky. that's the sound of the traction control, am i right??
 
say guys, on the subject of le mans, what car would you most like to drive around there?? for me it would have to be either an audi r8 or the audi quattro s1 rally. what about you??

That's the tyres squeeling, or chirping when it looses grip (from going over a curb) and suddenly comming back onto the tarmac and getting grip again. It does that on the GT4 Demo I have and the BMW one as well, which is pretty cool.

nitro_2005: Instead of making two posts one after the other just use the edit button on the first post and then add what you need to that post.

regarding the traction control... I also heard it in the demo disc with the Falken GTR... its more of a 'crackling' sound, usually coming out of a turn full throttle... and yes, its quite noticable in F1 races...
 
Were you able to completely get rid of the Traction control in the version you played?

my demo was from a Japanese PS2 mag... nope couldn't turn it off...

yes, I was able to turn off the traction as well as the driving assistance...

Isn't ABS included in driving assistance? I think it is. ( in game, not in real life.)

I've heard of the following as 'switchable' driving aids.

Traction Control
Stabililty Control
ABS
Active steering

Unfortunatly I can't remember which magazine I read it in, so its more of a fingers crossed that we can turn the lot off, rather than a jump up and down with joy definite we can turn the aids off.
 
Now if PD wants us to be able to judge how realistic the physics are, all the aid needs to go damnit. sinner, alzard, how realistic were the physics in you all's opinion?
