Now that there is no network play in the Japanese version, is iLink supported?
By looking it up in the game. As there's LAN for multiplayer games, why would we need i-Link anyway? LAN has been presented as the official successor of i-Link, so I don't see why you're asking this.LoudMusicThe Interceptor:: I can confirm that there is no i-Link option in GT4. How do you confirm this?
simple answer: you can't! No i-Link port => no i-Linking for GT3 and GTC on the PStwo.Hun200kmhOne thing I don't know is how do you play iLink races in GT3 with the new PS2.
Takumi FujiwaraHere's a question that I've been thinking about. The original Halo supported LAN play, but eventually, sowtware became available to allow console to console online play by hooking into a home LAN. What's to say this isn't possible with GT4?
fporto_brIt's a real shame that i-Link support was completely dropped on GT4. Me and my friends held some real intense LAN battles on GT3 using the i-Link port and an i-Link hub... Now, all of us are forced to buy a network adapter to play GT4.
Really sad. I have no reasons to buy a network adapter, so, I think I'll stick to GT3 for some multiplayer mayhem...
