Question 1:Is this racing actually done online, or raced offline and times posted?
Answer 1: Racing is done offline and times submitted, using the 'honor system' via PM's to me.
Question 2: How long will each race be?
Answer 2: Tenatively set for 6-7 tracks, one track per week (Maybe 1 track every two weeks?) with anywhere from 5-15 laps per track, based on which track is being ran each week.
Question 3: How often will the races be?
Answer 3: Tenatively set for one race/track per week, unless a particular race coincides with another OLR event.
I'll do my best to make sure, based on current set schedules for the WRS & WTCC, to make sure an ITCC event does not happen at the same time.
Question 4: Will this be an "OPEN" competition, or will it be based on driver ability?
Answer 4: Not quite sure I fully understand the question but I'll try and outline a few key points to see if I can answer it...
* Each driver picks a car they wish to race and based on that given car, then assigned to a specific 'class'..
NOTE: See the car list in 1st post to see which car falls under which 'class'
* The car you pick to start the series is the car you keep throughout the entire championship.
* Each week a specific track is raced a specific number of laps and the winner for that specific 'class' is the driver who completes all scheduled laps in the fastest time.
NOTE: Point system to follow shortly over the next few days.
* Each race will be raced in ARACADE MODE > TIME TRIAL
* Car is raced in STOCK format, meaning, NO 'quick tune-ups' to adjust either a increase or decrease in the cars horsepower or to add or reduce the cars weight.
* Tire choice is up to each individual racer to use per race event.
* If by chance, given the total number of entries and cars chosen, if there is only ONE driver in a specific class, at the start of the 1st race, he/she will be asked to select a car in either the next preceeding higher class or preceeding lower class, as long as that specific class they choose to race in has more then one driver...NOT including themselves.
Example: If I'm the only driver in the GTS-2 class at the start of the series, then I have the choice to either move UP to GTS-1 or move down to GT1, However if either GTS-1 or GT1 don't have any drivers at all, then I would have to go to up further to the L1 class or down lower to GT2 class, until I'm in a class that has more then one driver besides myself in it, so I don't wind up being the only driver in that class racing.
If anyone has any further questions, please post here or send via PM!
NOTE: For those who have expressed an interest but did not indicate what car you'd like to use, please either re-post or send me a PM ASAP please so I can put a current/tenative list of drivers/cars.
Thx-

PS If one must select an alternate class because there are no other drivers in your current specific class and you can't go UP to a higher class, then you must select a car in the next lower class that has more then one driver currently in it. The same goes true for the opposite...You're already in the
Example: If I'm the only driver in P1, then of course I can't go any higher..so the next logical 'lower' division would be L1
However, if I'm still the only driver in L1, then I have to keep going down the car class untill I find one the first one with more then one car.
PLEASE REMEMBER there is NO LIMIT to the number of drivers who wish to use/race the same car!
Example: If there are 3 drivers in the GTS-1 class and they all want to race the same car, say the BMW M3 GTR, then they may do so!
