Add a little bit suspension factor in terms of reacting on bumps and track altitudes, and GT will become a much better simulation. I expect that to happen very soon, PS3 will offer a vast imperovemnt of calculational power, and amazing amount of performance data that was collected by PD in last years will be used by 100% margin.[/QUOTE]
Agree with that.

The Forum you mean ;)
No, just certain threads that might contain complaining from other members, such as the "GT4 not that realistic.....".

why are people who are supposedly looking forward to the release of this game and have registered to the biggest GT community on the web bagging the s h i t out of a game that they have been waiting years for its release. If you are so excited about the release like me you'll want to discuss what it is like with people who actually have it, not just start making false complaints about it. Don't say stuff about the game if you don't have it simple.

Me? I'm just playing GT3 to burn the time untill GT4's release and I would like to thank all of gamers who have GT4 for giving the rest of us some ver interesting information.

I have to wait some more days for my 300bucks game to arrive, LONG DAYS! I dont even wanna think of waiting another 2 months.

I always play the GT games with ALL aids off. I hate aids, it doesnt let me control the car like I want it to, and I also hate it just cause its a bit cheating and not realistic.

AIDS OFF

I´ve been racing my bike (Honda VFR400R and Yamaha YZF R1) lots and lots on the Nurburgring this summer and I can tell you....the times they manage with GT4 are totally unrealistic.

6min 57 with a M3CSL? No way! For real 8.02 is the best a german test driver could get it at!
I hate to say this, but GT4 fails to simulate driving.....but it´s still hell fun.
And 99% of the ppl playing it, will never race a car or bike for real, so no probs for those, but for the one percent that does.......

like I said in a thread I think the 1st reason why youc an make unrealistic lap times on the nurb is that the striped borders are way too flat in some places compared to the real track they made my car kindof jump when I understeered my way straight thru a S corner and the dirt sure slowed me a lot more than what it does in the game :scared:
2nd reason may be because the game does not simulate that good the G forces and suspension work you endure when the road goes up and down.

It's too bad the times are that much different tough I hoped I could could enhance my driving for my next track visit 👎 at leats maybe I'll learn which way those damn corners turn because this track is awful you never see where you are going :/ this is nicely done ingame I love it :)

Like I said ITS STILL HELL FUN, but its just not THAT realistic, but has nothing to do with the gameplay. Thats my point. PD did a perfect job. (again)

Yes , it's a hell lots of fun still. I don't care about how realistic it is.
PD , well done and now ....I WANT THAT BLOOODY GAME!

Movements. Movements aren't G forces.

Im sorry to sound offensive but.. your statement clearly means that you didnt even LOOK and this site!

www.force-dynamics.com

right now you are feeling 1g down! its a fact if the seat u are in is tilted 45* then you are still feeling 1g but now your inner ear is telling you that there is a lateral force EQUAL to the downward force... in the context of being in a car and in a turn ( which is what a simulator does) your brain will interpret this as a 1G turn!!!! yes its not as powerful as a real simulator but when you only have a maximum of 1g(gravitiy) to work with thats the best you can do while not actually moving at any speed.

notice that when you accelerate the seat leans back BUT the base of the seat moves forward and so does your head, so this way your inner ear is telling your that you are feeling acceleration and your back is telling your that you are moving as well. that is because the pivot point is above you.

other simulators have the pivot point below you so when you lean back you also accelerate backwards so your brain is telling you that ur accelerating but only after you have settled into your seat. initially you feel a jerk backwards and that makes people get motion sickness.

anyway.. read the site.. that simulator is $$$ expensive but thats as good as you can get at this time unless you can create some sort of artificial gravity.....maybe make the pwerson wear a body suit that has metal in it so that it can be pulled down with a big magnet below the seat thus even if the seat is tilted in a corner you still feel the 1g of gravity plus the lateral force.. but your organs wont feel like they moved... so ... there ARE limite and they are higher than you think.

just my 20 bux im not gonna throw pennies at u they are worthless.
