Race IdiotI'm just wondering if those flip tops and slide cards support the DVD-9 format, i've heard that they don't support it. Maybe you need a DVD-9 game to load a DVD-9 game, I dunno.
The only clicks my PS2 makes are from the HDD.![]()
Well, I dunno myself. This Swap disc is a version 3 I believe. But it is supposed to work. Hmmm...maybe there are a few pitfalls. Perhaps FMV does'nt play properly! I can't say at the mo'. But once I get it and a game I'll report back about hoe it went! 👍I'm just wondering if those flip tops and slide cards support the DVD-9 format, i've heard that they don't support it. The success rate for original DVD import games, is about the same as with DVD-R backups. New games in the Dual Layer DVD-9 format might not work because of the extremely big TOC (table of content) size around 7-9 GB. Swap Magic Boot Discs only have a TOC size of around 4.35GB. But a backup of a Dual Layer game applied with a patch might work.
okojDid you buy your HDD over here, and, if so could I enquire where?
Cheers
