Sweet, checked gameplay today and I also have confirmation that it should be sent today! I paid for first class mail so I expect it tomorrow. Unfortunately I have a presentation for uni due next week and a group meeting on Wednesday for it. Something tells me I won't be sleeping much this week. Or the next week :D
 
I have it !! I have what I call the best game ever made on PS2. Picked it up about 30 minutes ago at the local gamestore, where I preordered it. Normally, everybody has to wait till 9th March, but I (and a couple of other regular costumers) already got it. I'm so happy!! It's loading now... You guys won't hear me next couple of days, I guess...

Oh yeah, Amar, I really really appreciate what you did for this board. I really enjoyed your updates and info on the game. Big Thanks 👍
 
Evidently quite a few shops are selling it already, there'sa bloke on the gamefaqs GT4 board who picked one up in his local Woolworths this afternoon.
 
I have seen my first GLIMP of GT4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHHAAAAAAAA:crazy:!!!! I'm even more crazy cause I don't have the money!!! I'm of with just 13,- euro or something (I have 50,- euro) Check it out, I'm dutch so everyone in Holland looking at this thread and post, GO RIGHT NOW to a shop called >>>>>"Replay"<<<<<, I've seen it in "Eindhoven"👍 Or maybe some other shop or something. It's REALLY frustrating, this "don't having the money" !!!!!!!!!!:crazy: If somebody here hasn't bothered to check the stores and shops (like me) and just waited from some fellow-*your-own-land* to say something about that GT4 finally arrived, go to all the shops NNNNOOOWWWW even if you haven't pre-ordered or something (like me)

Just start playing once you have it and once you've posted on this thread "I have got GT4" and stay in front of GT4 for at least........mmmmm.......two days maybe?? Cause I think everyone would do the same damn thing:D

alright, i live in the netherlands and some shops are saying 11th of march as the street date even though it's supposed to be the 9th....weird...i guess they are missinformed...though that seems hard to believe.

anyways everyone will get it this week for sure eh:)

Did you order it with 1st class postage? I won't know until I get home but I ordered from gameplay too and I'm also from Southampton (same as you) so if you got it then hopefully I will...

Today is gonna go soooo slow untill 4pm!
 
Getting the game fist on the 9th for .7 quid : ) muahaha....trading in 3 games for it that I never play.
 
i've got it since last monday and this is the second time that i switched on the pc since then,you can tell I LOVE THIS GAME

There is a nifty link to an PAL TV commercial (apparently for French market) in the first thread.

Nice switch explosion effect I must say. Shame you can't do "one car to another" switch in pits, like you can do with Spec modes:).
 
That ad was/is shown in Australia aswell.
