By popular request I bring you the Photomode Magazine Cover Competition. This will be a weekly thing to test both the photoshop abilities and photomode abilities of residents of the planet.

Rules:

Only Imageshack thumbnails will be considered for entry.
Use your own pictures.
One entry per person, per week.
Mark FINAL ENTRY in red on your final entry.
Stick with the theme.
Cite all sources you get your magazine logos from (not on the magazine, but in the post)
The picking will go like the Photomode Competition goes by a poll
Failure to abide by the rules results in DQ.

Theme

This weeks theme will be a Truck magazine. It can be a real one or one you creat yourself. This includes Truck, SUV's and the Honda Odysee van. Now including the Midget as well.

Deadline
Sunday April 10th.

Rules Update #1 4/05/05

Covers can be no bigger than the range of a verticle Photomode picture.
Real photos may be used, but credited.

Rules Update #1a 4/05/05

Real photos can't be the majority of your cover.
Credit must be given in the post, not on the cover.

Rules Update #1b 4/05/05

Trucks, SUV's and the Honda Odysee maybe used on the covers. Most truck magazines cover this.
All entries will be considered.

Rules Update #1c 4/05/05
The Midget is also a truck and will be ok to use.

Rule Update #2 4/07/05
Each week in addition to the poll winner, a designers choice award will be given out by the previous weeks winner. There still will be a poll competition.

Are you sure it will be more than 20 entries?
anyway .... I think I may give it a try
Nice comp ~

I think you can only put 20 entries in a poll.

Thats a nice pic, but using that pic at the bottom shouldnt really count tbh, its not yours :p nice mag tho

lol.. i dont believe the rules say no real photos allowed... its just another side-story.. the main photo IS mine though, i got rid of the truck recently, so i cant upload any new photos :(

You can use real pictures if you site a source.

You can use real pictures if you site a source.
that shouldn't be so... because what if i decide that i want to use all real pics and no photomode ones at all ?!?!

btw, just edited my first post in here with the addition of my creation :dunce:

To a certain extent it should be allowed, will have 2 clarify 👍

Btw. Slo-Car That is a nice mag mate well done 👍 👍

Alright you may include real pictures, but a majority must be Photomode and your OWN Photomode pictures.

And the reason I make you site is because I was on the newspaper staff (editor) back in high school and I know the purpose of citing things. Just put a little Pictures coutsey of in your post. NOT IN YOUR MAGAZINE COVER.

I got a quick question on the trucks we would be allowed to use. Would the Range Stormer be consider a truck in your opinion BlazinExtreme??? I was thinking of partaking in this contest, and I was just wonder what all trucks/SUVs would be allowed.

Thanks

Well even in real life most SUVs are considered trucks... but I think we should exclude them for this time. Maybe a separate SUV one.

Nah most truck magazines cover SUV's so I say why not, and if you want to use the Odysee from Honda go right ahead because in Truckin they have vans.
