GT4 : Prologue Confirmed for Europe?

You better preorder it Mustang-Man!

I'll have to get it, I wonder if there will be a limited amount of copies? Who said they found it at NZ$109 - thats like horrid.

I got GT Concept at the end of last year. I hate the platinum packaging so I found one that wasn't platinum but was priced the same way - Go the Warehouse!

id say they have no official price for it yet, so they put it at the highest game price possible? must be why.. otherwise someone made a large typo.

ANYWAY *for the AU people* I know someone who works @ EB (via net forums), asked him to find out what he could about GTP:4 - so he contacted the SONY rep and he confirmed it would also be released in Australia (late May)

so great news, im sure the price will be around the $50-60 mark.
 
Just like to say thanks for the responses to my points guys, interesting. Interesting responses from everyone actually, well done all! :) Especiually the info about what the Sony Sales rep said.

Can we start a poll to see how many people think the PAL GT4:P will be released before the end of May? :odd:

I think the maximum price is around NZ$120 for a PS2 game here, to put this is the picture platinum games are NZ$60.

Yes, great news, it feels pretty odd that we are in Europe though. Better check the map to see where we actually are ;)

yeh I will also, we cant pre-order it yet tho.. went into EB today to pick up Pandora Tomorrow (Splinter Cell 2) and asked the manager about it, suprisingly I think he actually had an idea what I was talking about

I was expecting

" prologue? what the hell is that.. the game will be released on (Insert random fake date to make people pre-order it "

he said "check back with us in a week "

im not sure if I should get the xbox version - obviously better graphics, not that they are the most important thing.. but you want the best possible version of a game you can get right?

OR, ps2 version - only because I can use the DFP - but I doubt it will be 900deg's

It's coming out on the 15th of april and the graphic's on both are that same.

Oh yeah, i don't think there is going to be a PS2 version of RD2, there could be one coming out later on though.:)
 
PC version will have a Prosim mode not found on Xbox version, so might want think about that.

anyone who owns gt4p. have the things like steering(handling) etc. been changed? if so im 100% getting gt4 (practise to get used to the new gt4 engine :P) im think im gonna get it anyway even if the engine is the same as gt3's:lol:
 
yes the physics have changed, i have read somewhere recently that they arnt finalised yet though
 
What I am expecting to, is maybe if you get all Gold in the tests in Prologue is that it may give you A & B licenses or similar like in GT2. Or maybe it was give you a cash bonus like GTConcept did to GT3.

Anyones guess.
 
i hope GT4 has all new tests (i like licence tests)
 
just pre ordered mine :) £19.95 including post & packaging, plus i also just ordered the Logitech Driving force PRO for £89.99 so that will arrive some time next week
 
Well i went to the place i usually buy games from (Central Park Interactive) but it wasn't on their 'due for release' list thingy so the guy took my contact details and said he'd order it or something. :) :( :confused: :)
 
I will wait to buy this game untill I am reassured it's possible to use the control sticks for the PAL version.

What are you talking about? show me the information that says analog sticks can't be used in gt4p cause I never heard of it.
 
HI All,

GOOD NEWS, the Analogue sticks DO work for the PAL release! Yippee I can now play this game with the right stick too!! I finished the Japanese release of this game without having a clue about any of the options or instructions, it is really nice now to play it again and listen to all the instruction videos and be able to read the menus!! And using the right stick is very, very nice! This is the exact same game as the Japanese release though.
