GT4 really does kill gt3 in graphics imo

why doesnt GTC count, its still a raceing game regardless if its as deep as GT3, do im guessing that ridgeracer or NFS or whatever other raceing game out there cant count because its not a Full Racer like GT3 You cant say GT4P has better graphics than GT3 and still say GT3 is the most realistic racer because you just said GT4P looks better, so if GT4P looks better then GT3 isnt the best looking racer and if GT3 is the best looking racer then GT4P is better than GT3, Please make sense and re think what you write before you post, thanks that would really help us all when trying to figure out what you actually mean...

Well you cant count it out because the name is Granturismo concept not GT3 or GT4 or whatever, you should count it seeing how its a totally sperate game, pretty much its own franchise, But explain how GT3 is the most realistic racer but yet GT4P looks better.... and that GT3 pic is bad but hey it would be cool if you could take a shot or the same car in GT3 and GT4P and the same angle preferably and if you could, THEN compare the two and debate which one is better...

Can i see a screen shot or something because it must look absolutly fantastic. Problem with PC games is the graphics vary due to someones card. With a console you will always know what your getting, while a PC game you say look at some screen shots, obviously showing the best quality while usualy your card won't be good enough. I know my poor lil Geforce 2 wouldn't run race driver at full.

Of course PC racing games are going to look better, especially with newer hardware. Here is a screenshot of Racer (which is completely free) I made on my GF4 ti4200

When I play GT4P, I see just as many Jaggies as I do with GT3/C.

I think GT4's backgrounds are better than the first screenshot posted above, but you're right, the car models are pretty smooth on the PC. But in my opinion, GT4 will be one of the best looking games to ever come to the PS2.

But yeah, it will be. Gt games don't have many jaggies anyway, GT3, GTC and GTP look about the same in terms of smoothness.

Its another repeated thread about graphics, thats the point, Should of kept this in the Grand Canyon thread, or another thread like it... No game will ever looke realistic unless your looking at a real picture or a real car or whatever, no game will ever look "real" maybe not for another 50 years or whatever, true graphics are great compare Gt2 to GT3 etc.. better yes but not close to "realistic" IMO like ive always said if you want realistic stand in front of your house and see cars pass by, if you want real physics go drive a REAL car, to me games are just games and meant for entertainment, true better graphics are better whatever, who cares, just play the game for what it is, and take what they offer, stop complaining about graphics and play the damn game..

If you mean by texture and screen resolution and then yes. How ever you need a $$$$$$$ PC to get frame rates anywhere near a console. Thats the money maker right there. Plus PC racers are dying as far as new and unique. Jaggies are only noticed by people looking for them. If you run GT4 at higher res and quadrople the texture size nothing could compare to it.

btw racer does not lokk realistic at all, PGR2 looks more realistic than racer The 3d engine is much better.

You've gotta see the funny side of Kev's reply. Anyway Cobra if you want good GT3 shots there are plenty on this site https://www.gtplanet.net/gallery/gt3?&page=4 , suer GT4P does look better but it's not that big a leap, one of the main things is the inclusion of more trackside scenery.
