I'm glad that it tells you which is real and which is GT4!!

I can't beleive how good they look... the only one I have slight issue with is the two of the tarmac in the foreground... but it stills looks good!!

Looks quite accurate, but I think some people are going...over the top abit. Lets compare some nice high res photos to in games res piccies of Gt4 eh :P

Saying the game looks more realisitic then thoughs photos...okay....sure....

Thoes real pics were bad quality sure, but don't overhype the graphics, thery're fantastic and very accurate but they don't look like real life.

there not even photos.
There just screen caps from the BMW CSL video that was posted a few days back.

The only time that Falken vid looked real was when I played it in a tiny window, when I played it at full screen size it looked like a game, it still looked very good, but it looked very much like a game.

I reckon compared the pics they look pretty damn real. But what strikes me the most is how good they have done the tracks, but graphicswise, forget those for a second and just look at the length, every crest and dip in the road, the way they did those is amazing. You can really see how good the circuit itself was done compared to real life pictures and be amazed.

But yeh those photos werent the best to work off, but still pretty damn bloody good if you ask me.

I also saw them a couple of days ago. This really looks impressive. Let's hope that racing on "the Nurb" is fun, because with only 6 cars on track you could end up with some lonely laps in case you mess up.

WOW, PD did an awesome job! How will they improve that in the next GT. It will prolly b so realistic...someone will have to turn the tv off to bring the player back to reality

Pretty cool... I was wondering why there were some differences in tracks between GT3 and GT4 (like the downward S in Laguna Seca) and here I get my answer.

Come on... - the trackside details in most of those pictures are not that great, check the detail in these shots. Close down to the cones on the corners!!

More to come
your linky sux, it links to a google thumbnail dood :)

anyhow, comapring the nurb v real and the foroza v real i'd say that gt4 has the layout of the track better than its xbox counterpart. comaping the pics at nurb the corners , ripple strips, gradients, etc seem to be almost exactly placed but in forza the corners and gradients seem all wrong compared to the real counterpart... so while the pics of forza look prettier i'd say gt4 is more acurate :)

just my observation.

Having just come back from Germany and having gone round the ring on my ZX6-R Ninja i can say there is one major difference between the two and that is pure adrenaline!

Feels like you've been on track for seconds in real life until you realise those cones you are heading for at 140mph really ARE the exit!

Also it is a very dangerous track. 2 bikes went down and a car slammed a barrier in the short space of time i was there.

Still saw a lambo Murchelagio and a ferrari enzo outside as well as loads of GT3 porsches. They seem to be the tool for driving the ring if you are a rich german!

I wish they would've spend more time on the suspension tuning and handling physics. The game looks great. But the handling and the tuning are disappointing.

I don't think so much that their tuning and handling physics is horrible rather than the Nurburgring being an extremely bumpy and hard track overall to master. Many of the off camber turns, bumps, elevation changes, etc. were designed to punish a car, and a car that is not set up properly will not be able to lap the ring quickly. Keep tuning your car's suspension, and keep practicing on the ring to learn the corners, and I bet you the handling of your car will suddenly seem to improve drastically.

Btw, welcome to GTPlanet nos2.

I would fully agree. Their has yet to be a console sim that hast been slightly "dumbed" (except RBR) down (probably cause of the need to supports pads) and flawed compared to the PC counterparts.

Both GT4 and Forza have flawed handling is different areas.
