I have a copy of this file in DivX format. It runs for 1min 47sec and is just over 12MB. But I have nowhere to host it. Does somebody have somewhere I can FTP it to?

Cheers for that.

I've uploaded the file to Netscape. Since they limit files to 500kb I've split the file into a self extracting RAR file of 25 parts. You must download all of the files for it to work.

Download the files then run the .exe file. This will extract all the .rar files and join them together.

Part 01 - .exe file
Part 02
Part 03
Part 04
Part 05
Part 06
Part 07
Part 08
Part 09
Part 10
Part 11
Part 12
Part 13
Part 14
Part 15

Wow... There's some dedication for you. Only 25 parts eh?

I'd have offered my FTP but it's been down for 2 days.

I had combined the 25 parts then uploaded them to my webspace, but Comcast only gives me 10 MB of space.

And I pay them 50 bucks a month. What a ripoff.

Anyway, cool video!! 👍

2,09 GB.
just try to use Leech ftp or something like it when you download. The more threads you have the faster the download will go.

Got the DVD in one (iso) file or splitted into 50 rar files (roughly 50MB a piece)
Use as you please.

Slightly off topic I know. But I've got a higher res copy at home, and when I was watching it I quickly hit print screen to get a still image of the red Alfa getting some air at the Nurburgring. Yet for some reason when ever I save the image and re open it, it shows up with the media player window, but a black screen. What's even stranger, is that if I pause the video and hit print screen, then unpause the video and carry on watching it and then go back to the image, it now displays the current frame from the video and not the one I orginally captured.

How odd is that?
The way around it is to ask if anyone has a high res capture of that red Alfa in flight?

Cheers

Jamie

and were down.......yo how do I post multiple images on one post?......anywho.....thats the best I can do :D

Cheers Robin. However I'm lookign for something a little larger is poss. Silly question, but how did you capture those?

Cheers

Jamie

I could make them bigger but it would blur cos that is the full size of the video (got off the web).......I can do that if ya want. As for how I captured them........I used Power DVD which allows you to capture by clicking the mouse and then saves it as a JPEG. Print screening movies doesnt work because they are not actually stationary objects on the desktop at the time of capture (thats why you endup with a blank image or the frame uve just played)

Anyway, I hope ya like them, but if ya want them bigger i can try and do them.......but I think they will be blurred.....sorry

Robin :D

Take all 25 rar files and put them in the same folder, the first file should have what looks like a few books tied together as its icon.....click it and then follow the intructions.....it should recognise that the other rar files are in the same folder.....then click the ok or whatever it was! and it should produce a MPEG file in the same folder. U can then delete the rar files.

hey bazz, i dont see the full iso in your FTP folder but i am downloading the making of video, thanks so much and hopefully you can clear up te ISO problem if there is one, you are my hero if i can get the full DVD

I remember a while back I was trying to capture a part of the Tool - Parabola video and when you print screen'd it into Paint it copied some sort of interactive frame so that it was either black or showed the opening frame. What I found particularly weird was if you zoomed in the frame remained unchanged, it wouldn't zoom. Something weird there.

You cant see the ISO? Hmm, try taking the rars then and use more simultaneous threads, will help speed a lot and it wont get u all that upset if one of the files go wrong (download 50MB is lot more fun then 2+GB).

I can rip the dvd too, just need some where to host, my avatar is also an idea, had it for quite some time.
