tried out dans settings again, and wow they are awsome~ alot more effort to drive but faster

t1 - 0'24.192
t2 - 1'04.321 gonna really look closer in photo mode on my last turn, milimeters to the wall

My secret? Well, hmm... I dunno, but here's the jist of the settings I used:

Springs 13/14
Shocks at 6 all around
Ride height, dumped in the weeds, (55/55)
Camber 2.5/1
Toe 0/0
Sways 6/6

Tranny is gear trick, with a 4.560 final, a maxed out first and second gear, then the rest adjusted to blend in, thus I'm using 2nd in the tighter stuff, and going up to sixth and almost redlining it coming out of the tunnel.

Limited slip is at 5/10/5, but I was considering using something like 5/12/5 just for a little more traction in some corners, but I didn't get that far, and it might be worse coming out of turns anyway due to it being harder to rotate. I also had a stiffened car, a non-stiffened car is something that I'd like to experiment with, but I don't think I'll be seeing GT4 again before this week's end.

I was in sunriver for a few days, that's why I hadn't posted anything earlier :)

Hey, I think I found out what the problem is....that squishy thing in between my ears keeps getting in the way of my hands! Made a slight improvement...

T1 - 0:24.890
T2 - 1:05.500

Still can't seem to get a clean one after I hit 24.5xx in T1. At this point I think I'm just trying to hard, time for a break. :irked:

Just got a T2 .8 slower than my best, but beat my T3 by .3!!!!!! Ive realy got to improve that last sector!!! :scared:. lol
 
I just ran a 24.2 T1! My T2 is utter **** though.. Hmph.

SLIGHT improvement, then of course on my next lap I get a 25 flat then blow it on the hairpin.......argh!

Really, a 24.2 T1??????? I doubt that. hotboi is barely breaking 24.2. I think you got crossed wires.

Can't get the car to work through Casino at all, and the wheel makes the hairpin pretty interesting (full-lock, anyone :p )

I'm going to give your settings a go, Daniel.

Does this mean you lef the camber and toe stock?
 
Man this is aggravating...

I am seeing consistent 24.6's on T1, but my T2's are all in the low 1:06's. I have a few ideas where I'm losing some speed, but I can't imagine going faster in those areas.

Anyway, I'm going back at it for another 100 mile session. Hopefully I'll be able to improve.

Nope, about 180-200 degrees in Loews. Are you drifting around or something? :odd: :)
 
Man, I'm really doing crappy this week haha. The combo is good I just suck at it. Holl's settings are faster when I can stop the car from spinning in the tight chicanes. I did notice big improvement in T1 now, doing 24.6's

Crap. Kimi just called me. I've lost my sponsorship, the F3 guys are beating me :(
Kimi, a top F1 driver, has no time for me.

I know kenny, I'm friends with Androoos and I'm just mocking him some....trying to make him go faster, cuz I know he can go faster, alot faster. I apologize if it bothered some people. Not trying to upset anyone in here.

Ran some more tonight, will try to run again in the morning before the USGP comes on, here's what I got so far...

T1 - 0:24.615
T2 - 1:05.339

I'm still not happy here, not far from 1:04's, just gotta work some more and maybe tweak my settings a little.

I finally beat my ghost, after 3 days of not racing at all.

24.647/1'05.921

got into a second I've been trying to get into :)

Now 1 more second to go haha

My first race and god, it's frustating at times. After 923 km (yup 923) this is the best I have managed.

T1- 24.697
T2- 1'06.157

My third sector was horrible, I was either too late or early on the brakes, so I lost almost a second. I am aiming for a Top 7 finish in Div 3. :nervous:

PS: Is there anything you Div 1 drivers can't do ? 1'04s for T2. You guys should be testing a F1 car.
 
@hotboi, impressive T2 split,this is going to be a fight to the finish line, down to the very last thousandth!

My settings r pretty good, they suit my driving style, i like to throw the car into the hairpins and hope for the best. i wont b driving any more of this combo, i wont beat my current best time.

thats what i really want to do, drive a real racing car instead of gt4.
 
I think I have bested my times. I really am screwing T2 up bigtime though.
