Glad to be back. I didn't plan on being gone that long. But I had to get things taken care of. Time now to work my way into Div2. :sly:

nice splits there casio:tup: , i have also seen a few 19.7xx, and one 19.6xx, but always buggered up the next left right somehow, i had only ever made it to T2 once on a great T1, and that T2 was a 33.69x, but dissapointment soon followed......
 
Just realised that almost half the field is Australian at moment and so is everyone browsing the WRS forum at this current time. All the Aussies who have posted splits are in D1. Now I'm trying to think of an Australian WRS regular who isn't in D1, and I can't! Guess it's in the water....What'a you say mates? Lets go for an Aussie 1,2,3!

just did a 59 lap stint :crazy: trying to find a few tenths extra and on the 59th lap i hit my target EXACTLY... :cool:

splits are my best i have done...

T1: 19.827
T2: 33.843

TIME SUBMITTED and i can confrim that this week the lap is CLEAN... :) (not like last week :ouch:)

i just missed dating a beautiful young lady from meulborne this past weekend... (really stupid by my part:ouch: )carnival. she is an exchange student here... hopefully i can see her again...:nervous:

as for the race. i did some laps and i couldn´t get anything under 35... so i´m a bit lost. but things will get better, over the weekend i finally move to my apartment:dopey: :dopey: :dopey: lots of WRS, DTM and JGTC then...

Well I won't be getting a podium but I'm getting quicker:

T1: 0'20.162
T2: 0'34.597
Fin: 0'5x.xx3

Another 0.1 at the line but I'm fighting for hundredths now. I did see a 34.3 once but I was drifting out of the corner before T2 and ended up crossing the finish line a bit slower than this lap. I love throwing this beast around the track though, T1 - T2 is a blast!!!

I'm also Killing myself after I threw away a 33.81x...
 
Damn, times are falling fast! I spent some more time on it last night but never got back into the 34.0s again. I'm jealous of the 19.8' and lower T1s.

So, what sort of Start/Finish speeds are you guys seeing?

I think I'm right at 130 mph (209 kph).

And yes my T3 is unfortantly slower than 54.3 ;)

Heh... You MUST need sleep if you're at 54.3xx at T2! :^) 34.3 maybe, or 54.3 at the finish (YIKES! Please DON'T sleep if you're there)...

u made the exact some typo as i did 3 days ago:) Great minds think alike/make similar typos:sly:

nice time shockwave racing, ur T2 was like .02 faster than my current best lap, but i had a pretty good T2 finish so it will be close at the line:tup:

yeah i think i will be a bit slower, i was quick through the big sweeper in the tunnel but as i came out onto the finish straight, i was a tiny bit messy, i reckon it cost me half a tenth, maybe even a tenth... shall be a close week though... 👍

it depends, sometimes i came through at 204-205 and would get around the first corner quicker, but generally i was crossing the line at 207-208... incidently on my submitted time i crossed the line at the start of the lap at approx 208kph, and crossed the fionish at 204kph!
 
3 more tenths for me:

Fin: 0'5x.xx5

I quite like this race but it's tough to perfect it, I didn't take the corner before T2 all that well but it did allow me to take the next corner quite well and get my best T2 - Finish yet. But alas there is time to be made between T1 and T2...we'll see if I can find it...everyone is so fast this week :crazy:
 
This is driving me insane. I've thrown away a dozen 19.7s, a slightly mental 19.691 and a 33.802....I havn't even started my JGTC qual yet!
 
Had another go at this tonight,

T1 19.867:tup:
T2 34.548 :grumpy: over a 1/10th slower than before.

But.... it's 15/100th quicker at the line, so it's an improvement!

Have also seen a 34.2xx but promptly stuffed it. :irked:

if u crossed the line at 204km/h, then ur time will be atleast .2 or .3 down on my time, thats a shocking speed to cross the line at:crazy:

i hit it at like 209 or something really high as i had great smooth exit speed coming out of the right sweeper, u on the other hand must have lost the plot.
 
The first sector is really KILLING me! I think it's finally starting to click for me, but I hope I can drop a tenth or two to T1 by the time this week is over...

Been racing this combo for almost 1 hour now and I dont know what im doing wrong in T1 - T2.
Anybody with those sub 34's got a walkthrough for T1 - T2?? im kinda lost..

EDIT: Bored. Run this track with a Full Tune FGT. May I say, it is slightly insane, got a final time of 35.4! Flat-O? What's the chance of us having a race with a full tune FGT? On a street circuit, say, New York?

T2 34.317 :D (Although how some of you are pulling sub-34s here? :boggled: :eek: :bowdown:)

And almost a full 3/10ths off at the line.
I'm starting and ending most laps in the 127 - 129mph arena too.

I guess the FGT you mention is the FPV GT we used on Suzuka in week 25. A V8 race at New York has been in my plans since week 30, but since New York is nobody's favourite track (see poll posted in december), I've been postponing this race again and again.

Actually FGT = Formula Gran Turismo. Although The Ford Falcon XR8 Touring Car thingy at New York would be an awesome combo 👍 (EDIT: As long as it's not on R5s...)

Oops ! I should have guessed that the FPV would never manage a 35 sec lap around Clubman, even fully modded.
The F1 has been used in week 28 and it was already on a city track (Tokyo). I'm afraid it would look too similar. Perhaps we should post a poll to see if racers want to race the F1 again and on which kind of track.
