Ok after a half hour i got these with no setup.

T1-22.464

T2-44.519

I didn't even change the gear ratios. Looken for a 5th win this week.:trouble:
 
I haven't played this game in so long, but I'm going to give it a go this week. :)
After ten or so laps, my best splits are...
T1: 23.426
T2: 45.636
I 'm using shockwaveracing setup (thanks by the way), considering how rusty I was, I'm happy with that. 👍

Have gone 21.7xx first sector but cant match my second sector split .3 faster :(

Update, as soon as I post I go faster, just changed ride height a tad down and got :

I actually beat my old time on the first go. 👍
After some more trys my current best is...
T1: 22.698
T2: 44.657
Hopefully I can get it down to the 43s, but we'll see. :)
 
Had my first try on this combo, and a great combo it is. I love the track, but actually never ever driven the car before. Love it, it's very fun to drive :)

I'm a tuning klutz, so I'm using the settings shockwaveracing provided, and they suite me very good, thanx!

First splits:

But I love like the car and the track, but I just can't find the wright pace...

Ok here is the setup im using so far and my splits arn't any good But that is down to me. Also i had to use TCS cos all i got was wheels spin in every gear, even at 50% throttle:(

you should lose the TCS, mess with your gearing and look at your power band, should give you an idea as to how you wanna gear it. As it stands for me i never go lower than 4th gear. 👍

[Edit] also lose the tow in =P [/Edit]
 
Finally got back home! I hooked up my new HDTV today and now for some WRS... 👍

Cheers Evo sport but im still playing around with it at the mo. Im not liking this car at all, one bump and im in orbit.

Had another session using rmk700's set-up:tup: (thanks) but i changed the gears to suit my preferences. Here are my new splits, still alot more time to take off them though.

T1 - 22.246
T2 - 44.010
 
I tried again tonite and I fell really fast:D. Here are my splits.

T1-21:425/-:426
T2-42:578/-:686
Total/-:932

But I don't think I have much left.

Ironically I was talking to darren yesterday, and I am now only .050 behind his time!
I have done about 15 laps so far.

jake, i'm really interested to hear from you if the gt4 image is good using such an excellent tv, or that you now only use ps3 and 1080 def games.
 
I'm gonna kill you all. Well, Steven can stay, because he's so nice and harmless. I raced my butt off, and you all get '43ers like nothing. Grr.

But Shockwave's setting look pretty good. I'm gonna try 'em today, if I ever get back from school (8AM 'till 7PM, ya maniacs). Yarr it.
 
Im having real trouble with this one....cant beat 22.8 at t1, or 43.2 at t2 using rmk's set up :@ Is this a DFP week, maybe manual geears would help..., or have i started to suck?...

EDIT: i Apologise for the simple first levels weary.. :D doesnt require too much brainpower at all...:lol:
