GT40 SUPERCUP



The series
The GT40 supercup is going to be a 6 race championship with two classes(Racing and Stock) Races will be done in arcade mode/ Free fun. Races will be done every 2 week's, giving more time for people who don't get much time to play GT3 and people who are doing other OLR's. :)


Classes

Racing: In this class you have to use the GT40 race car.
Tyres, Any of the slick tyres.
No powermodifications, except an oil change.

Stock: In this class you have to use the GT40 road car.
Tyres, use the normal tyres.
No power midifications except an oil change.

You are aloud to enter in both classes if you want now!:)

The rules

No cheating of any kind! Try not to hit any walls, 2 wheels on the track at all times, the rumble strip is part of the track too.
Save your replay's just in case your time is suspitious and you need to prove it.:odd:
No hybrids.

The Tracks (Races will not be in this order)
1. Cote d' azur
2. Special Stage Route 5
3. Seattle Circut II
4. Laguna seca(this was trial mountain, but I forgot that I wanted laguna seca instead!:lol:)
5. Special Stage Route 11
6. Rome Circuit.

Race Length
Races will be from 3-5 lap's long.
You will PM me your times for each lap and the whole race.:)

Point System
1st. 10Pts
2nd. 8Pts
3rd. 6Pts
4th. 4Pts
5th. 2Pts
6th. 1Pt
Anything under 6th is 0 points.:)


You will PM me your lap times and whole race times once you have finished racing. You will only have 2 week's to race. If you do not get the race done in 2 week's you will just get 0 point's for that round.
You wont have to race every round either. But if you want to win I recomend you race every round.

Once there are 6 Racer's I will wait a week or two for more people to sign up. After the week or two we will have a pre season race. I will tell you what track that is when we have enough racers.

If anybody want's to help out with the series eg, point adder upper-er.:lol:

For people wanting to enter, post a message here saying what class you are racing in.

I quite fancy this. Its a good idea having the racing over a 2 week period.

I'll go for the racing GT40.

S'pose we'll wait and see if anyone else fancies it now.

I dont fancy super speedway though, and I dont think many others will either.

How about one of the specal stages? - route 5 or something like that.


 
Ok, I will test out SSR5 and 11 and one onf them will replace the super speedway.
 
I'm in. Racing I think will be my class. I can also help organise a Table of who has how mnay points and post it up after every round if you need someone to do that.

This is just my opinion but you "HAVE" to have Laguna Seca and Midfield!

I think that the mistake there is pretty obvious...
Also I think you should make the rules no ASM or TCS.
 
ooo tricky i couldnt hit the wall even just a scratch if my life depended on it... well i could be going 50 but....

You can hit wall's, but not on perose(SP?). So are you in?

Track number 6 is going to be a tester, narrow track with walls coming at you from all angles !!!!
 
I tested it and it was so fun!
 
So we are going on the fastest total time for the 5 laps right?

Why not have a bonus point for the quickest lap - just the one point though to aviod people just running their quickest lap and not bothering with the total lap time as much ???

It does. Its like a drug thing to them and they cant get enough of it. Just watch your cat when it smells it.

So we are waiting for 6 people for each class of racing ?? Then its on.

Lets try to get to the end of the series and make a go of it.

We don't have to wait for six people, some people might decide to enter in both classes.:)
 
This sounds interesting. Put me down for the road car.
 
Meh. I'll do racing. Partly because I don't have a stock GT40.
