Glad I could make your day. Yes, I'm well aware of what an 806 looks like, and I'm well aware that Peugeot currently races the 406. But Peugeot did race the 806 in touring car competition in 1996. I do have a correction to make, though. It wasn't the British Touring Car Championship, but the Belgian Touring Car Championship. (What can I say? It turns out the BTCC isn't the only BTCC.)

I think they call it Belcar here...

Isn't the BelCar where the Vertigo is raced along with some 911's and small GT cars, and the Qvick Mini cooper with a M3 engine and RWD, I would love that car in GT4.

What does "PS" stand for in all the pictures? It seems like an horsepower rating, but numbers seem to be a bit off than bhp.

GT4 should have all the btcc cars up until 2003, because all those cars such as the Esso (Gold/Green) Pug 406, Red Alfas, Ford Mondeos etc, were great in GT2, they should make a great comeback.... :D

PS is the measurment used in Japan and a couple of other countries, 280PS is 276Bhp, 1PS is 1.014Bhp (ish).

Absolutely, get that 2002 Lexus in, I love the way that car looks, also the old BMW 328's from 1995-6.

PS is the abbrviation for the German word Pferdestarke, which translates to horsepower. It's also known as metric horsepower.

The difference lies in how the measurement is defined. One horsepower is 33,000 pounds of force over a distance of one foot in one minute.

One PS is 75 kilograms of force over a distance of one metre in one second.

Ok Ok some one put my mind at ease and tell me that the the mclaren will be on the U.S. version too..........

There is no US version of GT4P, as for GT4, we can only hope it's still there in the finished article.

Doesnt the odyssey have sliding rear doors?

hiyA! ^_^

I saw some of those on Gamespot, but even half of these arent shown  But thank you very much for the post because the cars you show are the ones I want to use and check out ^_^. McLaren F1 Fina was my favorite when I saw them at gamespot and the Skyline too. I would really luv to try the ones you posted ^_^ :D

your post has made me get up and go to buy a Japanese ps2! thanks!
i love this car! this is what i've been waiting for!
does anyone know if there's a u.k release of Gran Turismo 4 : Prologue? or if there's going to be one?

There isn't a GT : P release outside Japan/China/Hong Kong it seems :(

Hopefully getting my console chipped so I can play it & Initial D : Special Stage :D

How does one go about unlocking the last five concept cars?
I've just completed the driving school (or so I thought) and I still have the last fives spaces blank.
I didn't realize there were more cars until I saw the screenshots posted.
Any help is much appreciated.

--NEVER MIND. I just scanned the board some more and found out that I need to get all golds. Here goes...

I think that the Skyline Coupe looks like 350Z or Audi TT, not really a Skyline. I really don´t like that. :D Very nice pics. I can´t wait to get the GT4, I WANT IT NOW! They should put Sierra Cosworth and Focus RS to the game. That would be just excellent.

The Focus RS will be in, dunno about the Sierra, but it would rock :D

Thatsbecause it's not really a Skyline ni anything but name, not a performance Skyline anyway, what Nissan has done is ta\ken the Skyline name and they're using that for more luxury oriented cars, although uit's not slow it's not aimed at being a performance car like the old Skylines were, it's not even 4wd. The next performance Skyline won't be called the Skyline, simpley the Nissan GT-R but thats not due out until around 2007. Don't go muttering against Nissan for messing with the Skyline, they've changed the name of it thats all.

They're still fine telling from the concept piccies :)

Heres the concept of the next GT-R, it probably will not look anything like this though with a 4 year wait until the production model.

Well I hope the final version doesn't look like the GT-R concept, don't like it much personally. :odd:

I still think the R32 is the coolest looking Skyline :)

That Nissan GT-R was in GTC, it drives nicely. live4speed, thanks about the info.:)

Mazda Demio = Mazda2 ?
Nissan March = Micra ?
Honda Fit = Honda Jazz ?

Those are the names in Europe, I believe?

They are indeed, and I'm happy to share any info with you.

Demio is not exactly the Mazda 2 I think
