Also seasonal rewards to be lowered, A-Spec rewards to be upped (again) and lap glitches axed.

Quick fix :sly:

Although they should keep the Ferrari seasonal at 504k just for the irony. But seriously, the seasonals have almost eaten A-Spec races now for money. At leat make, say, Like the Wind equal to the seasonals after the triple payout drop, eh? :irked:

Wouldn't it be nice to have a game out there where you had to save up for weeks before being able to afford say, an Audi R8. You could drive such a thing with pride, that was the case with the 20mil cars, until the glitching started.

@ C_ZETA

Agree. I still remember there was a special, limited-time offer of increased Credits rewards for some A-Spec events, like Like the Wind. PD should bring that back, but double or triple what it is now, and having it there permanently. Heck, it would be tons better if they also applied it to the easier events. Seasonals would still have their current state, but just the triple rewards reduced to reasonable levels, like x1.5 or x2 the original reward. That should balance out the grinding, fun factors, and actual usefulness.

EDIT: The "Kazunori Tweets!" thread obtained Kaz's tweet reported on this thread as well (SHIRAKAWA, whom of which translates his tweets).

No problem, didn't think it would be a problem, shall delete it.

I hope it'll be more than just bug fixes. Way way more. :D

I really demand an explanation of how the Perma-Barrowing glitch and Duping have "Ruined the game". It does not affect gameplay or anything else in the game and it doesn't even affect you so why are either of these even a big issue? It seems all you guys want is to force everyone to play the game like you, which is far more wrong. If there's a real Game damaging issue that needs to be patch, its these out of track glitches. Those actually ruin the few leaderboards we have had. I've yet to set the Duping or Barrowing glitch actually ruin anything. I'm willing to bet someone has already done it a few times to my cars I've set and unless my garage is gone, its not affecting it.

And yes, I've duped. So what? What has it done you, Really? Unless its actually affected your core game, stop whining about it and trying to force people against their will.

Bet I seem like an old fart to some of you. :p

Lap glitches? Is that when you can "warp" under the track? How about mileage counts for everything, not just when you finish a race..

Awesome news! I'm not all that bothered about new content at the minute, this is what I want! A patch to solve my problems which are ruining the game. Thank you PD.

Sounds fantastic.

I don't see a reason for it, the glitches make the game better actually.

Better seasonals with awards around 500.000, X2010 Challenge easier and they are good to go for Spec II

Perhaps this update will bring better glitches?

Don't know about you guys, but I'd love all duped cars to be taken away.

Are you MAD?

No. The game would be impossible otherwise

Let´s hope they do decide to rid the game of the Perma-Borrow glitch.

Only way they could is remove the borrowing system or a 1 million credit limit for it.

Or like many other games when you delete the game data you take the save data with it.

A lot of things ruined the true fun of the game unfortunately.

Maybe you just haven't let everyone know what the "true fun of the game" really is. It seems like if it's not your idea of "true fun", then it's bad. Get over yourself and let people enjoy the game the way they want. No one forces you to glitch, dupe, or anything else, quit trying to force your own ideas of "fun" on everyone else.

I wouldn't say it ruined the game, but it did kinda make it less interesting. Like when you see someone with an expensive/rare car there's much less meaning to it.

Duping increased the pride of the 20 mil cars, because you got to drive them instead of looking at them.

No thanks to making games more boring unless the game is separated into two modes; one for playing, the other for getting credits. Everyone wins.

BTW, removing the PB glitch is probably impossible without removing borrowing.

So if you were say to race against me in the first two weeks GT5 came out and saw that I managed to aquire a Peugeot 908 very quickly, it makes the game less interesting. How do you necessarily know if that person duped it, what if like in my case, they were able to put so much time in the game that they got that expensive car very quickly?(Something I've done in many games) While I applaud you for not displaying this illogical thought of the game being "Ruined", I think thats kind of a shallow mindset to just label that anytime you see anyone with an expensive and rare car.

This isn't a universal fact though. I could care less how rare something is. As a matter of fact, I prefer less rarity, so that you could actually race [against] these things.

I do respect peoples' desire for exclusivity, but it's clear that GT and perhaps any game can't try to compromise the issue. Separate modes are needed for separate interests. If the fanbase realizes this, and pushes this instead of arguing for only their desired arrangement for the game, it might become realistic that PD disposes of their outdated game design and pleases all parties.

Hi guys. I don't dupe. Never did and never will. I want this game to last a couple of years before I get bored. Buying all the cars will be harder this way and will take me more time making the game longer for me. I don't have any problem with people who do it. I think a game is for fun so every one should have fun with the game the way they want ;).

its just sad people who think grinding hundreds of times to buy a virtual car actualy means something in life over people who bought the game to enjoy the cars and not be made to feel like they just paid for a job!

We need more race-modifiable cars in the future. Less than around 2%/3% of the cars in the game, are you kidding me!?

I just hope this patch brings some more tracks and a spec races into the game.

Not at all I understand there are people out there that did a lot of grinding and actually bought the car, what I'm trying to point out is that "duping" made MUCH more people have the car easily. For example, when GT5 was fairly new there weren't that many people with x2010s, with duping now 90% of GT5 community has at least one. This applies to other expensive/rare cars as well.
