I'll have to learn, not clutching for the moment, since it was forbidden in WRS and it seems I had a lot to learn outside of that.

Enrolled in the beginners club. New G25/G27 users!!!!

Regret to tell you, but latest news: 900° not supported on all cars, actually much better, GT5 adapts the settings depending on the real steering of the car. So a sports car has a very narrow point to point, where a city car will have full 900°.

That's good news.
So Fanatec users don't have to fiddle around with the steering option 👍

Fanatec PWTS, Clubsport pedals, no assists...

...might even drive with a helmet on for fun...

Count me in, Because the g27's paddels dont work i personally stay away from cars i cant clutch with or cars with more then 6 gears.. it just feels lazy, plus its just so fun and interesting when your clutching.

Should we have a page with any organized lobby at a certain time?

We can have a few users that open lobbies at certain time with certain restriction for drive day :)

I opened a Club page, where we can discuss date and time to race. Look at my signature (2nd link)

I have yet to try online racing as I have been honing in my skills with the G25 since I haven't played GT5P in many months. I am currently at Level 15, and starting to get "comfortable" with driving various cars and tracks again. The Club page is a great idea and we should utilize it to get some online races organized. I know that we all agreed to 900deg, Clutch, and no assists but what about all the other options for the cars? Unless I missed something I don't see PP (Performance Points) being used in GT5? I see in other thread posts people only referring to HP (Horse Power) and many races in GT5 defaulting to HP. I thought PP was a great system because you tuned your car to PP and everything affected this from aerodynamic adjustments (wings), weight, HP, to the most important handling upgrade Tires! In GT5 there are 3 catagories of tires: Comfort (stock), Sport (good), to Racing (Best) with soft, medium, and Hard compounds. Naturally a Racing Tire would be the best choice with a soft or medium compound depending on track and duration of race. I know racing with alot of fellow GTP'rs alot of races were sometimes done with the sport tires to achieve a more competitive and challenging race.

For future matches we need to ensure we specify what type of tires, HP, etc to ensure an enjoyable race (or until PD establishes a PP system). I know everyone has a preference for what type of car they like personally and like to race. My preference is Muscle preferably Mustangs, but I really like Vintage cars and Vintage style racing. There are plenty of Vintage style race cars, all makes in GT5 which makes this really exciting for me.

I am game for any type/style of racing, With this said I have been buying up various styles and makes of cars in the used car lot to support racing in this thread/group. We should post our "Race Type" in the social group forum to organize upcoming races and allow fellow GTP'rs to buy a car to use in that race if they don't already have a eligible car. We could also use the "gift" feature in GT5, but I have yet to try this feature.

List updated.
I was a bit missing out to play GT5 the last weeks.
Normally it will get better in the next weeks.
So I will join the one or other lobby to race you ;)
