GT5 Backed up data

I know many people have asked similar questions before, and i've already used the search button, and i couldent find an answer.

So, my ps3 broke earlier this year, when i had all golds on everything, hundreds of cars and all sorts. Luckily i had backed up my save file. However, when i try to use this now, on my refurbished one from sony, it says that you can not use this save data on another system, so i've had to start again, twice.

I'm wondering if there is a way to get my save file to work? thanks

You need to use the same PSN account you used for your old save.

I just got another PS3 since my blu ray drive failed over the weekend and got the same message until I logged into my PSN account. The saved data copied over and work fine. I'm not sure why you're having an issue if you're logged in under the original account.

Thats weird. It says "you're trying to use another users save data" ( even though i'm not lol ).
I dont know what to do. Anymore suggestions?

Unfortunately i dont have the old ps3. It got YLOD and sent back to sony. Thanks for the tip though
