So, we get positive information everyone likes, and now the "fanboy comparisons" are debatable? (even though I never compared anything)

I would say the exact opposite. Thus, I made a joke degrading Forza.
 
It's gorgeous, elegand and beautiful and everything.

I'm predicting the limited edition boxart will pull a GT PSP and use this cover in black and white with more pronounced white outlines just as the poster in the PTOM has :)
 
Coverage of the game is increasing :D.

Hopefully this is the start of the big push between now and release.

Edit: I worry as I will likely be buying at least one special edition likely 2 :S

Don't worry and join the, I spend way too much money on GT! I'll buy Both the European special edition and the Japanese one :P
 
It might not be people word of choice but lets not pull any punches here, it is a super pretty cover and frankly should make any real driving game loving man or woman moist. :)

Same here, and can't wait! I have the Japanese GT5p as well as the EU and PSN variants :crazy:

Just the same as I am going to buy the Wipeout HD Blu Ray as well.

GT is the only special edition I really, really want though!

To TokyoDrift, I will be buying the Japanese and European special editions.
 
It's a cover. I look at it once, then put the game into my collection.


The spine is what I want to see. GT5P has the lamest out of my whole collection, let's hope they have something good going on here.

I can guarantee a world wide release. Japan, Europe and US will, I can guarantee, be getting the game.

Simultaneously? Now that's a whole different ball game. Still a possibility if Kaz is to be believed when he says that all versions will be finished at the same time.

Well I will likely be buying the Japanese edition as it will be out earlier. I will get the special edition of this as they usually have some interesting stuff in their SE's.

Then when the game comes out in the UK I will buy the special edition then as well. I guess the reason for that is just because. I like special editions though, I have various statues and gaming ornaments I have got in my life so far and given my current route of education my collection of gaming memorabilia is quite apt!

I love this cover art, as I said in the PSM thread, the merging from a vector drawing to a rendered SLS gives a techy feel and shows the detail and effort PD have put into the game. The 'digital to reality' effect. I still loathe the new PS3 font and box layout but it kinda works with this artwork.

I think that the 3 Blu Ray cases will have the SLS image in different colours (White, Red and Blue) to match the actual colours of the case plastic we saw in the seek peak video. As for the cardboard sleeve could be anything or maybe what we saw in that vid was the final image.

Im a massive Merc fan so this suits me perfectly! ;)

Likewise, but if needs must!

I imported GT1, 2 and 3. Part of me wants 5 from JP for Moon over castle...
Having a brother living in Japan ready to send it at a moment's notice doesn't help either.

I imported prologue and was delighted with it. I understand waiting as well but I get jealous lol

On topic. I don't give a damn what's on the cover, or how it looks. It's what the disc inside contains that is important IMO. Still have to say it looks ok though. Liked the more clean and discrete look of the poster more though.
