I've always tried to be optimistic, but with this weird silence coming from SONY and PD and with November practically over all us I'm preparing by myself for a 2011 release :indiff::indiff:

Well I think Sony Australia and SCEE have both mentioned a "before christmas" release date, so definitely hang in there man. I just want the game to come out before my winter break starts, because I'll have 3 spare weeks, and then I will be busy again starting in January. Please sony, get the game out .PLEASE.:ouch:
 
They said by the end of October, we aren't there yet, give them a break...........
You can start whining again on Nov. 1st if we don't hear anything.

Here in Mexico the Stores are replying with a Dec. 10th Release, But in the sony Style Mexico Site they still having no Date, my corcern is with the Sony's silence, you know, this is the most important First party game, it's a system seller, There's a lot of people like us waiting for the game, and they are treating it like like a new IP from an Unknown Publisher and they are treating us like retards
 
I can only guess that mid November might be the point of no return for PD to provide a release date, if it still plans for a Christmas release. If it misses the holiday, it might not feel as rushed and push it back the date a few months to refine the product even further. I really Hope this is not the case. :crazy:

Well, Mexico's certainly in the forefront of video game release schedules so I think it's safe to go with the 10th of December.

Well Besides the sarcasm, the last 2 years we've been getting the games at the same day than the USA release or just a couple of days after :sly:

lol ... You know I just came back to edit the post because I figured it would be really easy to mis-construe. I said what I said because I read somewhere that a lot of video games are manufactured in Mexico. So that's why I figured they'd be more in the know than all the bull crap we've all been flinging for the past few weeks.

So yeah, no offense man.

jajajaja no offense, Also is just a store, I still waiting for an official date from Sony than is the only one than counts:nervous::nervous:
 
In a situation like this...

I would not be surprised if Sony dropped their "worldwide release" ambitions. It is very possible that it could be different from region to region depending on the way the "slots" worked out. That's even if that Australian competition hint is anything concrete. Which I think, certainly seems plausible.

If this were true, I would take that Tuesday off and have a 6 day weekend. I'm really not counting on it coming that soon though. All my money is on 12/7.

Yeah, 12/7 is looking like the day, I think that if this ends up being the day, it will have taken into account a world-wide release.

I was thinking the same thing, what if they released it before black friday so they could get their sales in the US, and then the rest of the world a few days later. The US was going to get it first anyway.

And maybe the whole production issue, got them held up everywhere but except here? I don't know I'm pulling at straws now :)
 
If the news section is correct then for UK members it wouldn't be released on the 8th and would more likely be released on the 10th as thats a Friday. I did say many posts ago on this thread that the only realistic release dates for the UK were either 3rd Dec or 10th Dec.
 
I think it's a little strange that they can post the X1 info and vids but cannot give us a release date.

Makes me think that this is something just to soften the bad news that we may be getting sometime soon.

I hope not though.

They still haven't updated the North America site yet, maybe we will get the game first and other regions will have to wait a few days, and the new info is (like you said) to soften the blow.
