GT5 delayed

It's completely reasonable for them to postpone the launch until a few weeks after COD comes out. Black Ops will probably be one of the best selling games of all time, having GT5 released the week after means a huge amount of people will pass because they just bought a game. Now that I think of that it totally makes sense.

Obviously, people like us don't care when its released its a automatic buy on day one, but there are alot of people who buy a few games a year.

I don't understand why they have to separate best sellers launch!
1) it's not the same public
2) if someone can't buy both he will buy one, and the second one latter...2 or 1+1, it's the same $

The master copy and kaz were on that ship all was lost GT is no more.
 
Please guys dont be stupid. A store claiming to selling the game right now is not going to be trust worthy. Do a google search for Fingerhut. There is nothing but very bad things being said about this retailer. Their website raises so many red flags.

Cheers for letting me know.

I popped into my local Game store yesterday and had a row with an employee who I cannot stand. This employee is a diehard Forza fan who said "GT5 isn't even finished and won't be ready until next year". I took great delight in telling him about the leaked videos on Youtube.

Out of Curiousity are you the same Stune who played FM2 under the tag VVV Stune?

Yep im that same Stune, Im Dignitas Stune now on the Xbox (Stune5 on PS3). I remember those days we both had competitive times in career and i was i right in thinking you had many of the arcade races?

Might be nice if we have some GT5 races at some point, if my appalling internet connection allows it of course:scared:

The good old FM2 days. Loved the career/exhibition leaderboards. Such a shame Turn 10 made a mess of FM3.

Certainly up for some races when GT5 is released. Im a member of BRC on the PS3 which is a team that was formed when GT5P was released. Send me a FR mate my PSN is BRC-IVORBIGUN.

i guess they wanna release this game as fast as possiple now, with all the delays.. i can understand that.

Of course we are assuming all the videos from the single guy that has a copy are from he CURRENT release, and not the version that got pulled so it could be compiled with PS3 SDK3.5 to force jailbroken PS3's to upgrade to play it.

We don't know how close Sony were to releasing before they backtracked and pulled the release in the light of the jailbreak "discovery" (I say discovery, I mean internal leak to hackers). If they were at manufacturing state, this could be one of those copies.

It would explain why Sony are deadly silent on the matter.

Why should he lighten up? that was a decently polite way to put it and he certainly didn't point any fingers. It IS stupid to believe anyone other than Sony for a release date at this point.

Considering that some of the gameplay vids we are seeing clearly show friend's sign in/out messages in the corner, that doesn't seem possible.
