According to the official PlayStation twitter was given the following information:

"Update: GT5 DLC will hit the North American Store on 10/25 but will include a special bonus. Apologies for the inconvenience!"

It is sad that we have to wait another week to get "hands" in the DLC's GT5, but then we can expect a special bonus.

I live in south america, but use the U.S. as PSN master account. it has enough content.

It is a shame even have to wait another week for the DLC's long awaited GT5.

I translated it into Japanese so that if PD reads this, we won't have another 2 week wait for the DLC

Either way, I can't think of a single logical, non-malicious reason for the delay.

I wonder if they realize they might lose potential sales by delaying it, sometimes it makes you wonder. I'll still get it, and we've waited this long for it, but it doesn't change the fact.
 
I bet the bonus would be some paint chips or Racing suits, something easy for PD to hand out as apology..

NTSC region specific cars seem to be a little stereotypical. Muscle car and a Nascar. I hate both and wish for Jag. :(

Honestly I don't care, I have no money in my PSN account and I was only planning on buying the tracks and suits until I got more money, but I am interested to know what the "bonus" is. Probably just another X2010.

It might not be their fault, maybe SCEA's or its all just a cruel joke.. But then again, Kaz tweeted it would be available in Europe and Asia tomorrow, and maybe someone over at PS Blog or SCEA assumed this meant North America wasn't getting it tomorrow? Who knows..
