Start on CH tires, get a car with roughly 350hp. Buy a fully customisable LSD and put all the values to maximum so it's locked and start drifting.

I practice with gt5 so i can get ready for real drifting.
Had an event yesterday and thanks to gt5 I did amazing!!!!!
Ive got the playseat evoltion seat, g27 wheel and real hand brake.
I setup up the 240sx semi light weight, front and rear stiffener bars.
coilovers front 12
rear 10 just like my real coils.
completely hard dampening. (10)
lowest damper extension to ride super low to the ground.
sways 1,1
ride height front -15
rear -20
front camber - 2.5
rear camber 0
toe, 0,0
lsd welded 60/60/60

parts
racing exhaust
racing air filter

Just try to get the power level around 230-250
I love running this setep because it's like my real car.

It was only my 4th real drift event and no one can believe how well im doing.
I nailed all the clipping points. Made tons of smoke and showed off with the confidence of a veteran drifter.
I give all my thanks to Gran turismo and Logitech!!!!!!!!

I'm waiting for yesterday's video to make it online, but here's my vid from 3 months ago.

Front end should be 10-15 higher than the front. It increases oversteer. Having a lower front causes understeer and also soften your springs a bit. I know you drift in real life but 12 and 10 are way too stiff. I run 10 and 6 on all my cars and it's never done me wrong. Considering it's a low power car I'd also recommend 5/60/60 since the increased torque will allow you to get the wheels spinning much easier on your initiations.

Please re-read the post.
The front end is higher than the back.
Because having less wait on the front of the car while drifting will help keep it from oversteering and spinning out. So you can maintain good angle.
If you ever went sledding, when you dig your hand in the front(left or right) your trajectory will bite harder than if you were to dig your hand somewhere in the back.
Also, It's been quite the controversy about LSD settings and what equals what.
60/60/60 is closer to a welded diff rather than the lower setting of 5 which is more like a LSD.
For the power band of this car, it's still a better choice to run welded, since you can't really oversteer the car hard enough on the welded diff to spin out.
I'd started notching the LSD back some if i were in the 400+ range.
As for the springs being 12 front and 10 rear, I like to keep the gt5 240sx as close to what I have in real life. what you recommend, 10 and 6 probably does help keep the rear planted better.
I'm just providing info from a realistic standpoint so that if anyone else wants to follow this path, they will find that it does indeed work.
12kg and 10kg are megan racing track series coilover specs.
the next step down is street specs which are 8kg and 6kg.
I figure that this is drifting and not racing, I want to extend my drifts as far as possible.
